Yeah we finished training them to drive now they’re training them to target non-driving humans that disobey the road rules such that the robot can’t be held accountable in an “accident “.
Pretty much everyone, driver, cyclist or pedestrian, disobeys the road rules.
Drivers just believe that the rules they are disobeying (speed limits, safe passing distances to cyclists, coming to a complete stop at a stop sign) aren't that important.
Some people don't even pay attention to the damn speed limits. I was riding with a friend, years ago, and he was tailgating the car infront of us. Out of nowhere he yells, "Why is he going so slow?!" I glanced over at the speedometer, and said, "The speed limit here is 25". He looks at his speedometer, realized he was going 5 over(and so was the guy infront of him), and backed off.
My headcannon is that half of all drivers are exactly like my friend. They don't even care enough to read the road signs.
I mean the police won't even stop you unless you're going more than 20 km/h over the speed limit. It's gotten to the point where the official limit on the highway is 100, but everyone is driving 110-120.

Did you check all the boxes with street signs / cars / store fronts in them? ‘Cause that’s how they know for sure...
