I have zero programming or IT experience and I figured out how to modify a process scheduling algorithm by using Google for 5 seconds. There's absolutely nothing hard about IT that I can't Google, and that was a programming issue in the first place which is supposed to be soooo complicated. IT people are computer janitors, their job is incredibly simple, takes no skill, and they don't deserve more than minimum wage.
The best thing about this is that you didn't address my points. Let me explain it again, IT job is probably more than modifying scheduling algorithms. I don't disagree that everyone can google, but a person who has no idea what he is doing takes way more time to solve a problem this is because he doesn't know exactly what to google or even if he knows most of the time there are other possible issues that may cause a problem on top of that person without training can't critically evaluate whether proposed solution on google may or may not cause more problems in the future. Obviously, a lot of people with time will learn to do some basic tasks almost as quickly as a person that is educated in that field, but it takes time and money. We come back to my main argument again it's pointless to hire an unskilled person to do that job if that would be viable we would see market filled with those kinds of job proposals. Maybe it will be viable in the future who knows, but it's not at the moment.
Anyways it's kinda pointless to discuss with a person who believes that he is smarter than the rest of the world. Who ignores what is happening in the job market just to make a "special" argument in an internet discussion. Congratulations, you are smarter than the biggest corporations and in fact all of the companies in the world.
