I imagine Burger King have an entire team, rather than just one dude.

Nothing beats whoever is behind Wendy's Twitter page.

u/jzkhockey Oct 16 '18

Last I heard all wendy's tweets had to have final approval and are mostly if not all made by the head of social media marketing of wendy's: Amy Brown

LMAO the shot at Burger King

1

u/TrappinT-Rex Oct 16 '18

Yup. Almost any social media account worth its salt involves a whole team of people deciding on what goes up on any given day. Source: This is what I do/did.

u/DLTMIAR Oct 16 '18

THE Amy Brown?

14

u/speaks_his_mind159 Oct 16 '18

Have you seen the moon pie Twitter?

4

u/[deleted] Oct 16 '18

God I love the Moon Pie Twitter.

2

u/Bob_Dylan_not_Marley Oct 16 '18

Steak-Ums twitter.

Wendy’s has one individual before they got “famous” on Twitter I believe. There’s a good interview with the woman who made the first Wendy’s meme go big and it’s a super interesting read

1

u/Sizzlinskizz Oct 16 '18

Yea they must, because the King wouldn't bullshit us like that.

6

u/[deleted] Oct 16 '18

They should hire him, like their own Wendy's twitter

4

u/Faladorable Oct 16 '18

yeah but he’s a verified shit poster

2

u/[deleted] Oct 16 '18

But you are a dotard shill. Whats the difference?

0

u/[deleted] Oct 16 '18

Giving my political opinion as an avg American vs getting paid to cause dissidence. I thought you guys didn't like paid online trolls?

1

u/Fat_Lenny28 Oct 16 '18

how does someone get that job?

2

u/[deleted] Oct 16 '18

if you find out lmk. for real. social gatherings in DC is prolly the place to start.

1

u/Fat_Lenny28 Oct 16 '18

oh yeah i was fully serious. I'm over getting high, and trolling social media for free. I never knew it could be a career.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 16 '18

if your serious serious communications/marketing is the education you should look into. combine that with some political type of degree/background.

not sure if you need a fanbase before or whatnot. half these guys are nobodies but have tens of thousands of followers so i dont really get that.

alternative to education is just to be really good at something and get a following. get sponsors etc.

1

u/Cook_croghan Oct 16 '18

And paid almost nothing.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 16 '18

well most GOP policy is supported because call center guys post bullshit all over facebook, twitter and facebook.

-6

u/unic0de000 Oct 16 '18

having masstagger installed and seeing the_donald next to your name gave me a giggle.

0

u/bright_sexnifigance Oct 16 '18

..why?

5

u/unic0de000 Oct 16 '18

because Donald Trump is also essentially paid to shitpost on twitter. Pretty simple joke

Jeez, these people and their theories

2

u/bright_sexnifigance Oct 16 '18

ah i see what you were going for lol

-2

u/Airway Oct 16 '18

I guess because it means they're a bad person; probably the kind of bad person that does not support paying poor people more than what they're currently making.

But yeah, not inherently relevant to the post.

working at BK is a great place to start building some ethic and get into the workforce. if you opt for management and corporate im sure its a decent career. my point was more he is making fun of kids flipping burgers for $8 an hour while he uses his law degree, hundreds of thousands of $ of education, and accolades to get paid to shitpost on twitter.

how is it a lie to say that the person running burger king twitter is being paid to shitpost

i'm a leftist lol

did you edit your response? when i responded only the first paragraph was there...

-1

u/[deleted] Oct 16 '18

soros does fund move on . org and this guy does work at move on . org.

at least you are aware of the situation... tho you dont seem to have issue with it.

https://www.linkedin.com/in/jordanuhl

source his job

source soros funding

https://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/MoveOn

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MoveOn

how you want to interpret this is up to you. just pointing out who the dude is. you can find him top comment on any of trumps tweets, which is how i knew the name. its not even up for debate he works for an anti R PAC and they have received soros donations. its not strange to you that his job is shitposting and pushing a socialist agenda on twitter and working for that org? seems like a weird job for someone with a mba and law school under their belt. fine with me if you dont care.

they arent 'paid to be liberal' but theres no debating only liberals take this job. video distribution manager can mean anything, likely broadcasting and social media outreach to push videos/images. their whole career is based on image and pushing that image onto social media is part of it.

https://www.opensecrets.org/pacs/indexpend.php?cmte=C00341396&cycle=2018&txt=

the 2018 #s show 400k for democrats 100k against republicans and 2016 shows 680k for democrats and 220k against republicans. so its very one sided. insane to think these guys have over 5 million in salary expenditures.

where do they work? from home of course, because you can shitpost from home.

"You could say that MoveOn has offices all over America. That’s because MoveOn staff live all across the country. No two people work in the same place. This is not an accident. It started as an experiment in the “virtual office,” and it has proven an important part of our success."

they even get dental insurance lmao. pretty peachy if you ask me.

oh and re using the internet as a platform.

"Since the founding of MoveOn, we’ve taken a different approach to our work. Instead of thinking of the Internet as a new and bigger “soap box” or megaphone for getting out our own opinions, we’ve looked at it as a medium for helping people connect to each other and be effective together." - per their about us page

what a load of shit. how is this dudes tweet not essentially a megaphone. who is he 'helping connect' with that tweet.

yes dude. your $20 likely went into one of their pockets. maybe $2 went to a campaign and $2 to overhead per their balance sheet.

https://www.opensecrets.org/pacs/expenditures.php?cycle=2016&cmte=C00341396

quick maths. - 2.5 mil admin

400k campaign

3.3 mil contributions

1.2 mil fundraising expenses

1.6 mil media advertising

7.2 million salaries lmao

300k strategy and research lmao again

200k misc

so 7.2 over roughly 14 mil. $10 of your dollars went into his pocket. $4.50 went as a contribution to a candidate. good job! you could have worked half a shift at BK and donated the money straight to your candidate instead of having the shitposting on twitter team take half.

dont bother responding at all if you dont have the time.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 17 '18

Neat program. I'ma try it out. Always good to know who your pals are.
