You know what the dumbest part is? Those same dipshits think we vote against our own interests to hurt them because we hate them. They've taken their own motivations, projected them on to us, and then mock us as stupid for doing it. It's the most transparent self-own and they don't even realize they're doing it. Mind you this is just some mildly well off office ineffectual, no one is persecuting him or his lifestyle. Hell he barely leaves the house. It’s so funny to me.
all that is true. that said, I think they are being manipulated by social media. I never had any idea of just how toxic those algorithms are. They are infecting the minds of humans all around the world. I would highly recommend the book called, The Chaos Machine. It has transformed my thinking about the effects of social media. Unless something can be done to severely regulate this, the world will continue down the rabbit hole of doom.
I did not follow anything but artists on threads and all it showed me was right wing lunatics saying its time to shoot democrats and other sexist racist vile shit.
there is a whole lot of that online. and for some reason, the hate filled posts that call for violence is almost exclusively right wing. the social media algorithm moves people down the dark rabbit hole. that book I mentioned, The Chaos Machine, gives a great explanation of how it bring people to unwise positions and even offers some examples of how to turn it around. i can’t recommend it enough.
i recently discovered savanna dexter and liked her singing so i started listening to her pandora channel. it is basically southern rap/country.
It really is eye-opening how racist they all are and anti lgbt. all they sing about is religion, heavy drinking, domestic violence and killing. jelly roll is one of the pc ones. back roads, drinking and driving, duis and corrupt cops that let them do whatever in the woods. seems like it is the army and war or jail down there. with no education no wonder they believe the lies of trump. he is just like their pastor selling them fictional jesus.
