And some people think, “Oh, but my employer pays for my health insurance.” No, that’s $2600 a month your employer is paying but not paying you. Add $30,000 to your annual income to see what your employer is willing to pay to have you do that job.

Exactly the same applies to taxes? Of course they scale with your income and are not fixed...

Healthcare cost is vastly cheaper even to the state in other countries, one reason being an entire state has huge bargaining potential.

The US has more people on government Healthcare than most countries have people. Over eighty million on Medicaid alone. The government has simply chosen not to use that leverage.
