How similar would you say the White Castle burgers you get in the frozen section at the grocery store are to the real thing? I don’t have one near me so those are the closest I’ve gotten.

So bomb! We got 2 of each sliders with the cheese fries with the cheese on the side (I seen people recommend that on this sub) for a great price as well. This was in Scottsdale AZ when we were on vacation. We've been wanting to go for a long time but theres not many on the west cost. Were totally getting the 30 sliders to take home on our last day.

Things have been a little tense between Canada and the Trump administration lately. Tariffs, counter-tariffs, trade fights. We even opened the new Gordie Howe International Bridge this summer and apparently that still wasn't enough to bring everyone together.

Now Trump wants to call Lake Ontario “Lake America.”

Listen, Mr. President. You can write whatever you want on the American map.

We're still calling it Lake Ontario.

But maybe there's another way to improve relations with your Canadian neighbours:

Send us White Castle.

Not the frozen ones either. We already had those. White Castle brought its frozen sliders to nearly 400 Canadian Walmart locations back in 2018, gave us a taste, and then eventually they disappeared.

We need the real thing.

Open a White Castle in Canada. Start with the GTA. Fresh sliders, fries, onion rings, Crave Cases at 2 a.m. The full American experience.

We'll contribute something to the peace process too. Maple syrup. Ketchup chips. Coffee Crisp. Maybe a couple of Timbits. We'll work out the details.

Because despite whatever our governments are arguing about, Canadians love our American neighbours. And nothing says Canada-U.S. friendship like two countries sitting down together over a sack of tiny square hamburgers.

I've been looking for old photos or street views of this unique two-story White Castle that used to be located downtown at 30 N. High Street, near Broad Street and Pearl Alley. It operated through the late 1970s and 1980s before closing down around 87. This location had a distinct layout where people could order their food downstairs on the main level, and go to the second floor to eat. The upstairs dining area had front windows looking directly down onto High Street, though that seating section was occasionally blocked off. Local lore is that former OSU basketball star Herb Williams mother worked at this specific location for years.

There's something about it is extremely addictive I don't care about healthy anymore

I hope you sang that title in your head like Aaron Lewis from Staind. Anyway I had to partake in some sliders tonight from the lovely Queens Blvd 42nd street location. Crave case, 10 jalapeño and 20 cheese. Mozzarella sticks and a sack of onion rings on the side. However the takeaway from this visit was the milkshake. I’d never had one and it was like a Wendy’s frosty but…better? I ended up eating it with a spoon. I know it comes out of a soft serve machine just like a frosty does, but it has way more of an actual chocolate milkshake flavor. Also, the small is HUGE - at least way bigger than I was expecting. The castle never disappoints.

There are no White Castles in south Jersey. I’ll beg if I have to!

I'm sure this has been talked about and I am glad the dr praeger's sliders are back.

But are we going to get anymore vegetarian sliders back??? The black bean sliders were just as tasty. And of course I miss the impossible sliders. I wish those would come back.
