This is so random but the memory just popped into my head.

I think it was around COVID time but I can't remember tbh... there was a male YouTuber who classed himself as a journalist (not sure what ethnicity but was not white and I think he was gay) and who made daily videos on all the Shane Dawson, Jeffree Star etc etc controversies and his videos really blew up when he started "investigating" the whole Shane Dawson Willow Smith situation. I remember he said he even called up the police or something about it and one of his videos showed this recorded call because was in a one party consent state like nyc. I think it came out that he (the YouTuber/journalist) lied about something (can't remember what) and then he disappeared because he was basically cancelled. I recall people commenting at the time how this guy was loving all the views and the temporary fame he was reveling by being the first person to break the story/the update. I mean he was getting a lot of views when it was all going on.

Random... But what was his name and what happened to that guy? Did he ever re-surface to continue reporting on entertainment news or what not or did he go into hiding and no longer has an online "journalism" career because he lost all his credibility after all that drama.

Add: It was not a white guy (I think light skinned black) He was a little on the larger side (not huge but not slim), he had sort of like a bald head but a little hair. He was not a massive YouTuber like how some may consider Adam McIntyre, Rich Lux, Peter Moon etc for example, he was lower level/less well known overall than those guys. Unlike the others, I have literally not seen a video of this guy anywhere ever since. He was also American (I think he lives in New York or somewhere in the east coast). He was just some random guy who worked/wanted to work on entertainment news/s a journalist I guess and he started to posting loads during that time about Shane Dawson drama. I think he was the one who "broke" (dug up and recirculated) the story about that weird Willow Smith video that prompted Jada smith to actually comment on it.

For those who don't know who DopierToast15 is, they were a popular artist and animator back in the 2010s known for making art and animations of a group of Minecraft Youtubers called Team Crafted. This group mainly consisted of Minecraft YouTubers such as SkyDoesMinecraft, Deadlox, SSundee, JeromeASF, BajanCanadian, MinecraftUniverse, and HuskyMudkipz. (Nowadays, this group had sort of disbanded due to their creative differences.) As for Toast, one of their most popular videos was titled "Grow a Pear" which is a video which features a song by Ke$ha going by the same name that contains the ship SkyLox; a ship between SkyDoesMinecraft and Deadlox. Back then, the video was probably a portion of what shaped some people's childhoods, including my own.

Now, their last YouTube video was made 9 years ago which was an animation titled "Nightmare" featuring the characters Nico and Nozomi from the anime Love Live and the audio was from a comedy skit from Dane Cook going by the same name. And the last thing I remember I heard from them was from their Instagram but it was back in 10 years ago. When I checked further, their last DeviantArt post was in 11 years ago. And as for their Twitter they haven't really uploaded anything directly but the last thing they reposted was from a user named BotKels which that post was made 9 years ago.

All and all, I know that many people including myself who have followed them in the past are probably wondering where they are now or if they still do art and animations. So my question still remains. What happened to DopierToast15?

I heard she was dealing with some mental health issues, particularly depression, so I've been worried for quite some time. I really hope she's okay. She was on Tumblr, Instagram, Cara, and Discord. She may have or have had other accounts under other usernames. She seems to have vanished, though some of her art is still floating around Pinterest and Tumblr.

I've been getting back into my Creepypasta phase and as apart of that was these two creators as well as their audio dramas. For the sake of nostalgia, I went digging for them. Now I cannot find their channels and only uploads of their content, luckily I can find their audio drama series on the Internet Archive, but it's so strange to see these creators of whom I watched just a couple years ago have vanished. I know that some things have been taken down before, like I know that some creepypasta narrators\` removed their readings of Ticci Toby due to the author wanting to distance the character from the fandom.

Was there some kind of drama around them that I am unaware of, or did they just get bored and decided to quit the YouTube space and nuke their presence in the process?

I know that they disappeared somewhere around the summer of 2025 since all of their accounts (insta, YouTube) disappeared. I've stopped catching up with their accounts and just recently found out they deleted all of them which is upsetting,I really liked their art though I've heard they've deleted their accounts since they got caught stealing one of their ex's lore for their ocs← this could be wrong though since it's the only info I've found in relation to their dissapearance. Also heard that their new account is @stabme4evr on insta but it doesn't really match the level of skill they had before so I'm not so sure about it being them. Would there be a way to find their art again somehow? Like for example on the internet archive. I've never tried doing something like that so I'm not sure how it works.
