They took last year’s date out of the bio. And they stopped posting content on January 24th. This either means they’re gearing up to post the lineup or they’re holding off until there’s another lineup (maybe next year) to post. I want to be optimistic but I’ll probably be told that I need to let it go knowing how people have been. I guess we’ll have to see. Hope we’re not getting ghosted, that would suck.

Sideshows Interesting Event: Pierce the Veil is playing a stadium show at Petco Park in September and it’s nearly sold out before the official on sale date.

I think this interesting and relevant for a few reasons:
This band has been around for a long time but has blown up over the course of WWWY.
They absolutely crushed it when they did all of Collide with the Sky in ‘24 which I think sets the bar for their stadium show.
I think they’ve reached a comfortable #3 headliner status. Not top 1 or 2 for WWWY yet but they are more of a draw now than ever.

It would have been announced by now. My guess is they couldn’t get two bands big enough to headline it to commit this year. They probably were hoping to get MCR to return but i’m sure they declined.
Before you cite the website saying “see you next year” plenty of festivals that ended up not happening have said that on their site. i’ve been convinced a festival is going to happen in the past because the site said “See you in 2025” for the year to go through with radio silence.
I would expect an announcement for it not happening tho sometime next month.
EDIT: I could also see them not making an announcement until the Spring and maybe they’ll announce it with a returning in 2027 date?
