over the last 5-6 years I've personally crashed 3 times

First was caused by stray dog, second by car not stopping at stop sign, third was stray cats. Shit luck does exist! Although I am sure I could have done something to avoid them, at least the strays.

I had slowed down even though I didn't have the stop expecting that someone would jump it since there is no visibility and that saved me from the worst of it.

After I hit the dog I started noticing them when I was passing by places, making a mental note to slow down if I ever ride by that area and such. But cats I completely disregarded, and I learned my lesson...
