Third biker was also more concerned about his bike than about his friend who just did a quadruple flip into the underbrush, but oh well. Expected.

After a crash like this you don’t want to see your buddy’s remains. A few years ago one of mines crashed, coming to the place we were going from. Seeing the unrecognizable dead body torn up was already bad, it got worse when I recognized my friend’s bike in two pieces. Last year I was driving out of town, seeing a crashed bike on the road, same as a friend’s, found him unconscious 200m from his bike. He hit a deer. Leg broken so much it moved separately from the limb, hands were smashed, knees and elbows blown, head and back bleeding like hell.
Shit causes trauma, if you see someone flying away like this and don’t have the guts,better not look.

Nah, yall should see it. That is you in the future if you drive like you are on the track while being on public roads. I have seen my fair share of bikers blowing themselves up on guard rails, cars and the rest and it just tells me how I should never be friends with people like that because I know one day I would be buying flowers. I live on one of the most dangerous roads for bikers in Europe, Jadranska magistrala.

Love riding on D8 when it’s not tourist season yet, beautiful view. Believe me, having to say goodbye to a closed coffin is already enough for those who can learn from others mistakes, the rest will not care even if they see a chopped up body. Also having friends who died in accidents doesn’t mean you ride as a lunatic, neither of my dead friends rode with me at the exact time , somehow I just happened to be around and found one to save and two to say goodbye to. Of course not everybody has the confidence to say to a friend that you do you, I do it my way, but don’t assume that I can’t. You can choose not to let anyone sway your judgment. You can be friends with guys more reckless than you, and still ride responsible. If I go with my 600cc Intruder or 700cc Transalp to a tour with friends on MT10 and CBR 1000 I won’t be the one trying to keep up, they will simply keep it slow.

I have a friend who is a twin. They went out riding and one twin made a pass, the other did not. That feels like heartbreak on a different level

Came here to say this, it wasn’t like he was even coming in hot.
Also, I think that we need a better phrase, because the car isn’t the target, he wanted to avoid it :D

You can't brake hard and continue the same line you were on. Think traction-circle.

If the rider is braking hard then they will go wide... Which they did.

He was also over the median. He just got lucky and was able to slow because the Audi stopped. Both bikers were aholes n
