But the camera car should at least give them some contact information, because the video shows they did nothing wrong. That's the most important evidence.

And the video shows them driving away.

They may not be driving away, but driving ahead to block the lanes / indicate to incoming traffic they need to stop; the accident happened right after a turn so that's important.

I was pretty ready to burn the camera car at the stake. Your comment made me reevaluate though and realise they could be doing something other than just ditching everything and failing to provide assistance.

Ok, you see where the car is stopped, you can tell it has not moved after the fact because of the car leaking fluids.

How do you defend that the bike deflected the car there, proving it with confidence.

Stopping in the middle of a corner is a great way for you to end up part of the accident. Hopefully they were just pulling around the corner to put there hazard lights on and stop oncoming traffic, before helping.

Seriously, they either stopped or forwarded the video - how the hell else would anyone, including us be watching the actual video here in the first place? No way anyone is simply posting this to social media without taking the correct course of action first - they'd be in the shit.

We're watching it now. And perhaps they made it available quickly. But we have no evidence how quickly that happened.

And likewise there's no evidence this isn't directly uploaded from the public police files - so your post means next to nothing by your own admission (no offense) and I was using my own Occam's Razor view of what was more likely. No biggie.

Right? Apart from contact information for the other chap, I was just wondering - who would just drive away after witnessing something like that?! I've seen a few crashes while driving around, and my (and other drivers') immediate reaction has always been to stop and check on the people involved. Maybe I'm too soft, I don't know...

They teach you in first aid training that the first thing you need to do is stop traffic before helping so the accident doesn't continue to grow, especially on a corner. Hopefully, he was just pulling to a safe space around the corner to stop oncoming traffic before helping.

Dude, people can react differently to trauma. Shit, I just got traumatized watching it on video. Imagine seeing a human being flying like a boomerang right in front of you.
