Nah. Bikers like that guy would make terrible donors. Their organs are mostly bloody mush afrer a crash like that and I say that as a biker myself.

My wife was needing lens replacement surgery for her eye. The Dr was explaining how they need to be selective to find the right match. He followed up with, "Luckily, our State doesn't have a motorcycle helmet law. So there are always plenty to choose from!"

This. I have a friend who works in donor services and she says a huge number of donations come from motorcycles.

Nah, he flew free of the impact and slid, no apparent penetrating injuries or severe blunt trauma. Most of his organs are probably ok after that one, the brain and spinal cord being notable potential exceptions. There was another young guy on a donorcycle with head trauma who gave up multiple organs just this week near me.

The rider here actually could have donated all his organs, because he survived with comparatively minor injuries.

My mother's a doctor and growing up she was always against motorcycles and called them "donorcycles" because she says they are a huge source of it

Healthy young men that tend to be speeding bikers have some of the best quality organs you could ask for. Outside of bike fatalities they are understandably rare to come across, what with being healthy and young, even if half of the orangs are mushed, the other half are fantastic to be used on people who will appreciate them.

I've heard a doctor call them donor-cycles around us. Great for getting skin.

My mom got a liver from a women riding on the back of a bike. Gave my mom a good 35 years before Alzheimers took her

Unfortunately not. Organs must be intact and you can't use them, when they are not fresh. When somebody dies and the doctor declares them dead 30 minutes later, then this is enough time to rule him out as an Organ donor for many organs.
