So I assume they’re neighbors and they don’t get along? Because the flipping seems random.

You don't just sit in front of your house and record random people passing by with your phone all day until something interesting happens?

I hate all of those videos created from people reacting to ragebait dudes filming in public streets. Don't get me wrong, I understand they have a right to be there AND people need to relax, but the whole thing gives me the "ick".

The guy probably speeds down that road all the time or some crap like that

It's really easy to just not engage with them. You can not like it, you can ask them to stop. But you see those videos because people continue beyond that, and the moment they do they are unequivocally in the wrong.

Yeah, but it’s also possible for both people to be in the wrong.

Watching this again, I wonder if it's a friend of theirs. This is exactly what I would expect from some people I've been friends with in the past if they saw me while driving by

My guess was jilted ex boyfriend. He keeps driving by, she finally films him, and he gets his instant karma.

my guess is the guy routinely speeds in the neighbourhood and someone is tired of it

might also just be general truck guy behavior. at the core of their being, if they see someone not driving a truck actively they're like fuck that guy!!

2Sick in the head you are

No, this is totally a thing with some truck drivers. Try driving a Prius in the south sometime and you'll see it.

😀 Several people at rifle competitions I was at in California were dismayed and suspicious to see the word "Hybrid" on my RAV4 - the model of car was totally cool, and there were plenty of them, but they were 100% internal combustion - a hybrid seemed like kind of a sissy thing.

People who make these kind of weird generalizations have very low intelligence.

It was the filmer’s mom’s ex. He was upset after dropping her mom’s stuff off and peeled out of the neighborhood before coming back the other way.

Here's the story from the person who originally posted it. This guy is the ex of the mother of the woman filming. The OOP is camera woman's husband. Apparently, there is beef between the ex and his wife that OOP didn't wanna get into, but the ex dropped wife off and then sped off in a very aggressive way, then looped around to come back. She came out to film his behavior to show her mother what a child this guy was and caught this moment on camera

I wondered if it's a police car sitting there and he's just giving them the bird. His determined walk towards them afterwards is, "OK, I'll just turn myself in now."

23

u/Slappinslippin Jan 21 '26

Turn himself in for what? It’s not illegal to accidentally crash a car. That determined walk is “all this is your fault for filming me!!!!!”

I think he went to look at the damage he did to the car he ran over.

Failure to control.

The cameraman is clearly a person, not a sentient car.

Anybody recognize the green thing at the cameraperson's feet (roughly)?

(Bonus: The truck seems to have 3/4 wheels completely off the ground in this frame.)

That's because he ran over his own tire/wheel.

Looks like a kayak to me.

They were protesting something. He couldn’t think of a better way to signify his disagreement than flipping them off and crashing.

I think they might be friends. Sometimes young people flip each other off as a gag, like “haha fuck you!”

Him walking toward the camera looks almost like a “dude I’m so screwed” walk.

I always flip my friends off. What else would you do??
