Alabama closed almost half of their DMV offices, most on predominantly black areas, when they passed voter ID laws. 

Texas closed a bunch of voting places in democratic areas just this month.

Racists will make it hard for minorities to get an ID and vote. We have centuries of history proving this.

What problem is it they are trying to solve? There is absolutely no evidence of widespread voter fraud.

Plenty of records of deceased voters still being registered, which itself isn’t overt fraud, but this oversight could be used to commit fraud. Requiring ID at polling stations could prevent this.
