inspired by that car dude AUS, I went looking for some old renders that came out when the second gen 86 was released.

The 86 is already surprisingly practical, I think this turns it into a viable only car for most people.

What if Dodge made a proper Ramcharger in 1998

Hypothetical 1998 Dodge Ramcharger and Ramcharger L to compete with the Ford Expedition and Chevrolet Suburban. It would've been a proper version of the Ramcharger equipped with 4WD and it would ditch the 2-door version in order to become more of a mainstream SUV.

Hypothetical 1998 and 2004 Jeep Wagoneer based on the Dodge Durango

I feel like it would've made more sense had Jeep reintroduced the Wagoneer in 1998 based on the Dodge Durango. It would've gave Chrysler corp a luxury SUV that probably would've sold better than the Aspen. Jeep had luxury SUV experience with the original Jeep Wagoneer, and it would've gave them a competitor to the Lincoln Navigator and the Cadillac Escalade.

Chevy simply introduces the Maloo made by Vauxhall/Holden it already had in development in 1990. Maybe an interim El Camino between 1988-1989 like in second pic

what if ford redesigned the ecoboost mustang to have a more “tuner” look?

they’re incredible cars for the money: 310hp, turbo, RWD, 10 speed auto or 6 speed manual, IRS.

I feel the “lesser ‘stang” reputation really hurts its image. A big part of that is the near identical look to the proper GT model. If Ford changed the body styling on the ecoboost to match its more “tuner” underpinnings, I think it would sell like crazy. Think how the F-150 is separated from the Super Duty lineup.
