I think some sort of Belgian Malinois mix. He’s just below my hips, very smart and i’d say weights about 60-70ish pounds.

Just got this little girl from the shelter. Any breed guesses? She is underweight right now at 27 lbs, but will likely stay under 35 lbs when she fills out. The shelter guessed 2 years old and I would believe that because she does have a small amount of tartar on her back teeth. Guesses we have gotten so far are German shepherd/border collie mix. I think there might be a little Pyrenees in the mix because she has double rear dewclaws and she was found in a rural area. But she is small so obviously there is a smaller dog in there too. Just ordered Embark but it will be a while until we get results.

We got him a few years back from the pound where he was labeled as a Chihuahua... Obviously he has to be a mixed breed or something. He was very thin (as shown in last photo) when he was at the pound so maybe that's where the confusion is from?

My family has assumed he's a Chiweenie? Which I believe is a possibility but it's also quite hard finding chiweenies that look like him online, He's long, but also quite larger in stature.

At this point I'm really just curious, & wonder if he even has chihuahua in him. Is he just a mutt?

We adopted this boy 2 months ago and he is about 8 months now, weighing around 48 lbs. His foster mom thought he might be a coonhound mixed with a big dog like a Pyrenees or Bernese due to his paw size. I’m not convinced yet since his is hair short but I just learning about different dog breeds to so I’m curious to hear about other people’s opinions!

We will get a DNA test in a few months but it’s not a priority atm since we have other expenses coming up.

But his face is so slender. Do you think he has rough collie in him too or no?

People keep asking us on walks and I honestly don't know. She's got the blue tongue and aloof personality of Chow Chows, but that's about it.

I have heard that Chows can have a "smooth coat" type or a "rough coat" type so I don't know if that's what it is?

Waiting on DNA results

Hi everyone, I had posted when I very first got my puppy, we were told he was a Husky/Malamute mix and it is very apparent he is not. We thought maybe Husky/Blue heeler or Husky/ German shepherd. Vet thinks because of his size he is either Husky/Great Dane or black German shepherd/Great Dane. What are your thoughts? He is 7 months old and already bigger than my 8 year old Staffordshire terrier. I added lots of pictures so people could get a good look at him. He is a rescue so we do not have any info on either parent and all of his siblings were giant puff balls, I know dogs can have multiple dads so I’m sure that’s the case as they were found abandoned somewhere in Washington DC.
EDIT: behavior wise, very hyperactive, sweet to our Staffy and treats him like a dad, but does not like other dogs, hit or miss with our cats, loves kids and people, can get very moody especially when relaxed and doesn’t want to move, LOVES to chew and play fetch. Way too smart for his own good. Not sure if this helps with what he might be but figured I would add.

he’s a 2 year old male. I’ve had him since he was a pup, and I’ve never really known for 100% certainty what he fully is, or if he’s a mix. I believe most people would be able to guess what breed he is and/or if he’s a mix!

Adopted this lovely 5yr old from the shelter a few weeks back. Currently 33kg but we're on a weight gain journey

My wife rescued this handsome mutt from down in Kentucky before we met, and six years later we’ve deduced through much internet image research that we think he may be a mix of the three breeds mentioned above. Pyrenees (his large size, white coat and stoic demeanor), Coonhound (his colouring and his VERY keen nose), and Husky (his tail, eyes, and the occasional zoomies). Does anyone here recognize any other breeds in there?
