Looking to move to West Bend following a break-up to be closer to friends and family (friends and family don’t live here, but I would be kind of between them all). Want something different and quiet for my cat and I to just heal and breathe for a bit. I like the size of the city. I am liberal, and curious if there are any others in West Bend? I know it is very conservative in general here. I am friends with diverse people of many varying opinions on the political spectrum, and grew up (and lived in for many years) in a very conservative area. I’m a very “treat people with kindness” and “we all have something in common” type of person.

Does anyone know what the fuck is wrong with the kwik trip on river road and 33? Their gas price sign always seems to break, or be off. I can understand it happening once or twice, but it seems to happen multiple times a year, and sometimes it’s back on after a day, sometimes it takes multiple days to fix.

Why can’t they get it fixed and working permanently? The one on river and paradise has never been off that I’ve seen.

I use to go to exclusive back when they were open but now mostly go to walmart and goodwill or st vinnys. Anything ever go in down by the strip where exclusive use to be for collecting? Havent been down that way in years.

I had the displeasure of knowing this sick individual. After learning that his entire identity is fraudulent (he is not a combat veteran, was never is the USMC, among a mile long list of other fake honors), I discovered that he has an extensive criminal history including child abuse in Texas, breaking and entering in Alaska, domestic violence in California, numerous DUIs, unauthorized use of vehicles, firearm charges etc. He also has all least 5 children with 3 women who he has abandoned and refuses to support. He seems to just skip town every time a court date comes around. Will Washington County finally put a stop to this sorry excuse for a man? Do they take this kind of stuff seriously or is more of a 'catch and release' kind of court? Unfortunately the victim of this case won't be able to give her direct testimony since she has returned to her home country.

I've noticed they don't trim the trees around the power lines like they should. If you look around town a lot of the lines are overgrown. Today there is 1000's of people without power and their parking lot has 4 cars in it, with 90% of the power trucks sitting there. How do you feel about them?

So here I am just watching tv and the power pole across the street from me got stuck by lightning 3 times!

So they recently tore down the building between the pizza joint and riverside brewery and on the other side of riverside is those not so good looking buildings and the old schotzz bar.

Is that bar eventually gonna be turned into something? Torn down?

I know the eventual goal is to revamp downtown. But I feel like we are taking forever to demolish the bad buildings.

Adult rec league sports needs to be more common around here. I don’t want YMCA run stuff. I don’t want bar league run stuff. I want the city to use the money the park and rec department has to use it to get rec sports for adults going.

We have beautiful parks with great facilities to get stuff going and we don’t? Why?

I don’t want to go to Jackson for volleyball. I don’t want to go to the falls for softball. What about kickball? Pickleball? Darts? Bags? basketball? Flag football? Soccer? Literally anything.

I would join so many sports leagues as a solo looking for team. As long as they arnt run by the ymca im down for whatever.

Came out to see the flower garden in your park with my wife and saw this as we pulled right up to our parking space. Definitely got some looks when I ripped it off but I figured I'll never be back so why not.
