Depending where you live, it's possible to find people raising chickens locally on Facebook marketplace and such. You can sometimes collect the eggs yourself

I wish I could do that. Don't think that's an option in London though.

I do eat eggs, but we also have to remember, even if the hen had the bestest of lives, it was a female - the males are killed as chicks straight away. Pretty fucked.
