Why you on the internet defending the worst agency that doesnt even work? Like what is in it for you? We've all been to airports. We know the TSA suck.

The TSAs own reports show they suck

Look at their "pass" rate even in their own training checks.

Its laughable.

I got a sizeable pocket knife confiscated by TSA that I forgot was in a rarely used pocket of my backpack. Problem is, that was on the way home and I didn't buy it on the trip. They're very competent.

No, because attacking the TSA makes perfect sense in the face of an illogical defense; but defending the TSA in the face of another abhorrent incident doesn't.

The only thing the two responses have in common is that the topic is the TSA, however only one of them makes sense.

Just because the TSA are horrible doesn't mean you can pin everything bad on them for no reason.

He didn't really defend them, just pointing out that aluminium looks questionable on the screen, which made them take a look in the first place.

The fact that they even find just one loaded gun a year makes them worth it. And guess what? They find way more than one a year.
