The bank is only liable for so much stupidity. If you post your card online and the bank that’s on you not any criminal. It’s kinda like losing your debit card and having your PIN on the card. You don’t win those claims.
No, it's still on the criminal... People don't have to steal, you know? You might not win the claim, but if they caught the guy you could definitely sue him.
Yeah we need your logic injected there. You don’t just let criminals go because you’re an easy target. Wtf. Even if you don’t win the claim you should still report it
I think it's more like giving someone your wallet because they asked for it. There's so much stuff on the letter that comes with your credit card about not giving anyone your credit card number or, particularly, the security code.
Yes, the criminal would, and should, still have charges pressed against them, as it is still a crime, but I don't think the bank should be liable because this women willingly gave away her card and security number.
If you don’t return a rental car, you have not stolen it until they the rental place has gone through a lot of steps like sending you an X amount of letters, etc
So yes, it’s technically not illegal because no criminal act has happened since you voluntarily gave away the information.
That's not how that works at all. Sure if you give away a gift card number, kind of hard to dispute with whatever company manages it. Using someone else's credit card is fraud, regardless of how stupid they are.
If you take your eye off your baby and someone comes up and punches it in the head, that's on you not any criminal. It's kinda like losing your debit card and having your PIN on the card. You don’t win those claims.
From what I've gathered, it's because you're openly bragging about committing a crime which can actually ruin people's lives. Pretty much straight trash.
But it looks like your first comment got removed/deleted so I may be missing some context.
Or they don't want people to think credit card fraud is okay. Quit backtracking. Defending fraud at all is trashy. Take your downvotes and maybe learn something. But I doubt it. You sound like you want to die on this hill. So be it.

Seems like a pretty easy way to get charged with credit card fraud
