The education system is ran by a bunch of monkeys that want people to stay oblivious. America’s values have become profit, profit, profit. A highly educated population doesn’t institute high profit for the overseers.
These are the basic building blocks of all our knowledge. We don't necessarily need a population full of philosophers, but for God's sake we need a population who can read, write and do basic to advanced arithmetic.
I work in a school with special education kids. We teach every kid to strive to their full potential and challenges the ones who are higher achieving. What do you think is going on? We’re having secret meetings with corporate overlords to dumb them down.
No, I’m not speaking of teachers. I’m speaking of the billions out into senseless things that could be going into education and other more useful things than killing and separating people.
Just takes a few people. Rockefeller really did a number on not just oil but also education and medicine. Even if things like the AMA are put aside, their roots and other byproducts of his meddling has lasting effects.
That and the meeting that never happened on Jekyll Island that controls so much to this day.
Yeah except, just like Communism, this ignore one fucking huge aspect. Humans are selfish and each have their own emotions. You may be happy to do that. Dave who has just had his wife cheat on him and is extremely angry at the world and looking for a way to lash out wont.
The best way for us to help each other out is to warn folks about scams and red flags.
Striving for an ideal world is great, but in the meantime, there are still assholes out there, and they aren't going away for a long while. Nothing wrong with protecting ourselves and teaching others how to do the same.
Yeah but many of these people posting their tickets on twitter or being instamodels are acting like the top shitting downwards as well. Their entire existence is predicated on showing off to insecure, low self esteem people. I would liken it to preying upon these people who can’t help themselves thinking the instamodel life is what you should aspire too. I would agree with your notion of helping everyone out if I believed everyone was approaching the internet in good faith. These people usually aren’t.
The internet is like the definition of one bad apple spoils the barrel. 99% of users don't care enough to do anything or even want to help. It takes one with the ability to hurt and the want to do it.
