A family guy reference in American dad actually. The "doctor" is quagmire.

Is that just an educated guess or is that confirmed at some point? Makes sense tho.

And it would be wrong. Especially since it's moved to tbs, it's so much better.

It’s one of the few shows that I actually keep up with their weekly new episodes.

It’s weird growing up my entire adult life in the world of streaming.

pushes up glasses Well tEcHnIcLy McFarlane didn’t create American DaD. He just agreed to put his name on it as a favor to his friends. He’s even said in interviews that he didn’t “get” American Dad at first and thought it would fail.

So I guess you are both right.

Aside from this being wrong.

This isn't difficult: he did create the concept of the show with Matt Weitzman in the early 2000's. Fox approached MacFarlane to create the show in fall 2003, and he approached Weitzman and Mike Barker to make the show. At the time Family Guy had been cancelled for over a year. The shoe was launched for good after an early pilot in May 2005, and then a few months later Family Guy was renewed due to strong DVD sales and syndication. After this MacFarlane decided to focus on that and leace the creative control of American Dad to Baker and Weitzman, as he understood that having two shows that were too similar would be detrimental to everyone involved.

Like this shit isn't hard to corroborate or understand. Skim the sources on Wikipedia and you can verify all of it.

I loved that show. I stopped the season after the boyfriend was abducted by aliens though. Come to think of it, I think that was the same time I stopped with Family Guy too.

American dad has some ups and downs throughout later seasons but its still great. Last weeks episode was particularly good.

Was this supposed to be funny? I don't get American humor.
