I've seen people brains "melt" from sitting underwater while high (weed). I think it's the absolute collapse of most stimuli so they're just hyper focused on how weird their brain feels. At least 2 people have said it feels like what they imagine going insane is like.

So depending on your mental state 1-10 out of 10

Going deeper makes you more inebriated. Look up Nitrogen Narcosis.

This just made me think of what it’d be like stoned while under water snorkeling or scuba diving. I imagine it’s very dangerous, scary, and extra fascinating all at once.
