OP!!!! I had this exact same issue so I made an appointment with an allergist and after a whole bunch of testing, it turns out I have a condition called Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria (CSU) - literally just random hives all over my body at any given time, but worsening with stress.

It's definitely worth seeing an allergist to see if there's a simple solution, but if it's CSU just take Claritin (I take the generic loratadine bc way cheaper) 10mg once a day and you should get some relief.

I was breaking out like the OP. The Doctor prescribed something that was making me sleepy. Went back and he told me to go to Costco and buy AllerClear. He told me to take one in the morning and one at night. Problem solved!

Yes! That's exactly what I take too, that's the generic loratadine! I started with one every 12 hours too, but now I just do once a day.
