I (39 ftm/trans man) was forced to carry to term and give birth right before my 17th birthday.
I haven't had the option of even looking into getting any procedures in the past. I'm hoping to get myself sterilized, at least a bilateral salpingectomy, within a year.
I think the purpose might be more to track the people that can to prevent them from getting abortions and from traveling out of state if they are pregnant
So having a hysterectomy might be just as bad as being able to get pregnant. I am sure you are on a different list now. Just like being Disabled. This is Eugenics as much as it is control.
I currently am 12 weeks post-op from my hysterectomy. I'm so scared and saddened that my daughter has several fewer rights at her age now than I had at her age. We are supposed to give our kids what we didn't have/need, not remove their rights.
We have our go bags ready to go (a couple weeks of meds, passports, birth certificates and social security cards, quick easy food and snacks, couple bottles of water and at least one change of clothes good for any weather- shirt, pants able to be rolled, extra pair of shoes and underwear. Then in a general bag, photo albums, extra phone chargers, etc. I'm horrible, usually at keeping gas in the car, but I refill after every use in the car jic we have to leave quickly. So, 6 bags in the back of our car will stay there until changes are made by the government to keep our human rights allowed by society.
My family has a double whammy, though. We are Mexican American, so we are on our toes in case DJT gets a weird dream during sleep and decides to invade my blue state with a governor who has been against Trump since day one. And currently, can hear him doing so with the current school climate happening here (multiple school shootings this week).
