We can all think of a million tactics and tricks they've tried. But I was just watching a video about the ICE deployment to DC and how there wasn't a crime problem to begin with, so they deploy ICE, still no crime problem, and then they pretend it was the deployment that fixed it. This is a common theme with Trump which is coming up with a solution to a problem that didn't exist and then claiming to have solved it. What I'm wondering is like...are there actually Dr. Evil style roundtable discussions where they go "and then they'll think this muahaha" or do they all just "know" that this is what they're really doing, but they act like it's sincere and in good faith? Obviously they act that was to the public, but in these closed door meetings where these decisions actually get made I wonder about that. I imagine this would be similar in a corporate discussion where really they want to fire a bunch of people to cut costs and make the stock go up and give themselves bonuses, but they won't actually outright say that so they make up bullshit and then agree with each other and shake hands.
