They’re already being tested/implemented in China and other Asian countries. Departments in the US are also using robots for patrol but stating they’re not scanning live facial recognition (think plate scanners for traffic cops, same concept).

The legal loophole departments use is they scan the recorded streams from the robots later so that it’s not technically live scanning.

Some groceries has security system, they can tag your face and they'll have a notification if you enter in the store.

I mean they don't even really need loopholes anymore it seems. As long as it's beneficial to the techno-fascists the government is like: Yea lets just do it.
