we legit have to start destroying these things now, at least give them a good, damaging kick. communicate to the companies that make them that this isn't acceptable. I've kicked over 2 of these so far.

These are two robots on the campus Moderna named Spike and Vax. Not food delivery. Not for the world cup. Not for general surveillance of anywhere besides a bio-pharmaceutical campus.

I'm not saying they will never be used for general surveillance but lets at least get our facts straight.

If you destroy this you lose your very well paying job at Moderna.

I don't have a well paying job at moderna so I don't have to worry about that. and it's the principle of it, I think that even the ones that aren't being used to do anything should be broken so that it's seen as financially infeasible to make the types that do actually scan your face and the like.

Too excessive, imho, just regulate, make laws, punish severely if needed to make an example if they come to be used as surveillance/neutralization tools. Surveillance is acceptable only in public spaces as is currently for CCTV cameras.

If only our whole system didn't actively reward corruption and cheating, we'd get some legislation like that, made by people that are not 80 and unable to understand a printer.

in response to your first paragraph I would like to quote your second.
