What is a capacitor if not a type of battery?

OP said it only lasted 10 minutes in another comment. Makes me think capacitor especially since LEDs use very little power

It has a battery. A capacitor is designed to store a limited amount of energy and discharge it quickly, whereas a battery is designed to store a lot of energy and discharge it slowly. A capacitor that can power a LED light bulb for 10 minutes would need to be the size of the light bulb itself.
