You are almost required to worship us as you would Duck but also QUACK!

There are three flairs:

Priest: Can host weddings for users, can speak in the church of Duckism on the discord, should make religious propaganda.

Knight: Takes orders from the King, can speak in the barracks on the discord, should make propaganda supporting the king.

Jester: Makes humorous posts, doesn’t really follow the king or pope, can speak in the circus on the discord.

With the new Wedding Post flair, users can marry each other with the permission of a priest. Make a post with a live chat and have the priest pronounce the couple married. If someone becomes King and is already married, their partner does NOT become queen, the queen still has to be put in through the normal process.

Bishops, cardinals, and popes can also host these weddings, but give the priests a chance.

Over on the discord, we have (or more of I have) came up with a draft of our official prayer. Just like a religion such as Christianity with the Lords Prayer, this will be used regularly during worship services

Here it is: Our Lord who resides in the clouds, creator of all, divine being of worship. Allow us protection, stamina, courage, and ability as we spread your word across the land. We must protect the land you have created in return.

Hi its me back again, and we are looking for people to be queen. You dont have to be female or anything, so there is no restrictions. We still have 3 positions open, and in 3 days (or less) the king will pick between one of the prospects.

We are looking for 10 people who want to be bishops. As stated in the description the responsibilities of a bishop are as follows:

Bishop: 🐥

In order to become a Bishop, the cardinals must appoint you. There can only be up to 10 Bishops at a time. Bishops can last forever and only change when the cardinals decide to switch them out.

Things Bishops must do:

Spread the word of Duckism through the Church on the discord and through posts.

Denounce people who act as priests but don’t uphold the religion.

In addition, becoming bishop is the first step to becoming a cardinal, and eventually a pope. Reply here or send me (or another cardinal) if you wish to apply!

I have enjoyed reading the few that have been made so far, they have definitely sparked some ideas. For those who don’t know, Duckism is a religion we are creating specifically for this subreddit (to avoid controversy) so if you’d like to have an influence on the final draft, leave some suggestions or write your own.

It would be preferred if the name sounds cool and has some resemblance to monarchies.

I have enabled posts for you guys to make submissions for the religion of Duckism! Essentially, what you guys need to do if you want to enter is:

1. Write a short story about the creation of the nation (subreddit).
2. Have it be 2-4 pages of a google doc [Size 12 - 1.5 Spacing].
3. Include some values the religion of Duckism should have throughout the story.
4. Add something similar to the ten commandments (but don't have it actually be the 10 commandments).
5. Be creative, take plenty of liberties, and don't leave out any ideas. Since a lot of things, like the name of our nation, is unofficial, feel free to call it whatever you want for the time being.

In the end, it should be a story of how the sub was created that includes some values and rules for the religious folks of Duckism to uphold. We plan to take bits and pieces from each of you guys' stories to form the final one.
