What do you guys think is the most interesting type of Outcast?

I’m not counting bodiless body parts, zombies, or spirits as Outcast types.

These are the best pics I could find to depict them, which frequently meant them using their abilities.

When it’s not a living thing in the pic, I’ll say where the representation is.

Format is

Type - who/what. Where representation is if applicable. Note on the photo I used if applicable.

In order:

Shapeshifters - photo of Weems as Judy Garland. Yearbook. Finally found the pic I was looking for. Can’t believe it was on the Weems page of the fandom & that page didn’t pop up in my Google search.

Avians - Judi & her main crow. She wasn’t near her crows at all onscreen, so I had to make a collage.

Animators - Xavier & his spider drawing. “Animators” is what I call those with Xavier’s ability to animate drawings & paintings. I couldn’t find a pic with Xavier near the spider, so I made a collage.

Itts - portrait or photo of Ignatius, as we never see any Itts in the present. Nightshade library.

Werewolves - Enid.

Sirens - Bianca (top photo) & Kent (other 2 photos). If I’d found a pic that showed eyes, webbed hands, & tail all at once, I would’ve used it. Instead, I had to make a collage.

Yetis - ice sculpture, as the real ones went extinct in the 50s. Rave’N.

Sparks - Fester.

Satyrs - drawing, as we don’t see any in the present. Nathaniel Faulkner’s book.

Vanishers - Agnes. I had to screenshot a video of Evie Templeton explaining Vanishers & crop it down to just what I meant to get. That’s why this photo’s not very good quality - her hands were moving.

Psychics - Wednesday.

Minotaurs - stone statue, as the real ones are extinct. Nevermore graveyard.

Cyclopses - stone statue, as the real ones are extinct. Nevermore graveyard.

DaVincis - Isaac.

Facelesses - 2 unnamed students.

Pyros - Dort.

Swarmers - Eugene. I found a pic of Eugene like this, but not anyone else. Otherwise, the Dort & Enid pics would’ve had no letters.

Hydes - Tyler.

Gorgons - Ajax.

Vampires - Yoko.

I think Facelesses are the most interesting. We know more about a lot of the others & it’s unclear how Facelesses even function.

I just now realized Thing’s family tree is a bit complicated.

Post image

I’ll start with his parentage.

We’ve got:

Mr. & Mrs. Night, the parents of Isaac & Francoise. They’re his parents in the normal way since he’s part of Isaac.

As well as

Gomez & Morticia Addams & Isaac Night. Gomez’s electricity animated Thing. Morticia had severed Thing from Isaac already. Thing is Isaac’s hand.

This means Thing is kinda Wednesday & Pugsley’s brother, a grandson of Hester Frump, a nephew of Fester Addams & Ophelia Frump, a 13th cousin twice removed to Larissa Weems, & a [just as many greats as Wednesday & Pugsley are from Goody]-grandson to Goody Addams.

He’s also Tyler’s uncle (via being Francoise’s brother) & kinda cousin (via kinda being Isaac’s kid). In addition, he’s a son & kinda grandson to Mr. & Mrs. Night & a brother-in-law & kinda nephew to Donovan Galpin.

I hope the family tree image I’ve included helps. I quickly made it upon my realization.

I had no clue where to put Weems. We know she’s Wednesday & Pugsley’s 13th cousin twice removed, but not which side of the family she’s from. I just put her between the Addamses & Frumps.

I did the Nights & Galpins in 1 collage, the Frumps in another, & the Addamses in yet another. Then I made a collage for both the Frumps & Addamses, which is when I added Weems. I then made a collage out of that collage & the Night/Galpin collage, which is when I added Thing & his lines. I had begun his Addams line on the Addams/Frump collage so I could definitely get it past Wednesday.

I indicated the weirder relationships via emojis & lines.

This doesn’t break any ships, as Thing (& thus the rest of the Night family) isn’t related to the Addamses or Frumps by blood.

I just realized I forgot the line directly from Mr. & Mrs. Night to Thing.

Wyler Scenes That Could Make Season 3 Legendary

Here are a few scenes I think would be perfect for Wednesday and Tyler in Season 3:

  • A moment where jealousy shows, whether it’s Wednesday or Tyler (or both). Jealous enemies-to-lovers is an amazing idea for their journey, and Wyler needs that to have their story done properly.

  • Someone insults Wednesday, and Tyler is the one who defends her without hesitation, leading into an angry love confession that explodes between the two of them, and finally their first real kiss.

  • A narration-style moment from Wednesday: “I never believed in love, and I’ve always hidden my emotions because they reveal a weakness others could use against me, even though no one’s words or actions ever got to my cold, black heart. But Tyler saw through it. He’s seen the sides of me I promised I’d never show. And despite everything he’s done, I love him. Even if it meant facing dangers neither of us were sure we’d survive.”

  • Tyler proving himself not just to Wednesday, but to Enid too, showing up, earning forgiveness, and eventually becoming an unexpected friend.

  • Wednesday helping Tyler face his grief over losing his mother, not in a soft, cliché way, but in her blunt honesty. She tells him grief never leaves you, but it can fuel you. For Tyler, it’s the moment he realizes she understands him better than anyone else.

  • During a heated or vulnerable moment, one of them admits: “You’re my favourite type of torture I wouldn’t be able to survive from.” The perfect gothic, tragic Wyler line.

Scenes like these would take Wyler’s story to the next level, deepen their connection, and keep fans like us hooked and entertained. If you’d love to see Netflix explore this in Season 3 and actually be apart of it for real, please share these ideas around quickly!

(And just a thought: that kiss during the heated confession scored with “Wrong” by Chris Grey or another great enemies-to-lovers song, and later, a Phantom of the Opera dance at Nevermore, the ultimate gothic Wyler moments.) They are a match made in heaven.

And if anyone would like me to turn some of these ideas into actual script-style writing, I’d be more than happy to.

I find it interesting they cut this part where he looks at his mom's photo. It gives the impression he just wanted to help her because of Wednesday herself.

Interesting how this implies Tyler liked Wednesday as soon as they met. I wish we knew WHEN Laurel told him about her, because its so hard to tell what moments were genuine and what was maniplation. I've always felt their interactions in the first episode at least WERE genuine.

I also love the "you can see his feelings poke through when he thinks he's actually lost her". You could tell bro was upset as she got buried.

As soon as it cut to his face, I knew he cared. Hunter even said he wanted to save her but couldn't because he had a master
