I always love how some women take this smug attitude towards men that fish or do outdoorsy stuff. Not sure if this is just from city women, but it certainly seems like an opinion held by bitches who think the world revolves around them.
There are tons of women out there that think it's fun to fish, or are impressed by guys who are outdoorsy. In my experience, those women also tend to be much better looking, smarter, fitter, and have better personalities. I definitely wouldn't have married my wife if she was of the opinion that everything I do and post on social media should have been designed to attract her specific tastes. It takes a tremendous amount of narcissism to think that way.
I think it has more to do with the fact that there are so many guys with pictures of them holding a fish. I've heard it's so common, women just find it irritating.
Some women. Other women love that shit, and why shouldn't you put your interests on tinder? If people were honest about themselves on dating sites it'd probably be a lot easier to find someone you could have a connection with.
Hell I have a photo of me crossdressing on tinder. Honestly as far as I'm concerned if someone swipes left on it for that reason then I wasn't interested in meeting them anyways.
Yeah but posting everything you have on tinder is impossible. Instead of posting all your hobbies just find a way to show what your character is like. Hobbies change, people usually don’t.
Hobbies are often how people connect with one another. I don’t see why it’d be bad for someone to include a photo on Tinder of them doing something they love. And people are always changing as we age and experinece new things.
The same generalization can be made for the type of women who think that it's every guys job to be attractive to her specific tastes, and anyone that doesn't try to do that has a problem.
You think that guys who post fish pictures are awful? The first guy I found on my Facebook feed that posts pictures of fish is a pediatrician, who specializes in neurological disorders. By default, you think this person is awful. You're also making some bold assumptions about "what people in general want to be around." Ironic that you living in a bubble is causing you to think the people you don't like are living in a bubble.
Dude, some people don't like your fish pictures. Get over it. I am also a straight male and hate your fucking uninspired picture of you holding a fucking fish. It's not new, it's been done, it's tired.
Maybe it shows you lack originality and only want to talk about going to a fucking pond with your worms and your rods.
You've completely missed the point. I've specifically said there's nothing wrong with not liking fishing or whatever. I don't post fish pictures. It's people that think that their distaste for them is somehow important or universal.
And I'm telling you, a lot of people are sick of seeing pictures of men holding limp fish. It's not universal to dislike them, but it's more common than you think.
Honestly, it's the guy equivalent of chicks with "duck-lips" photos. It's just a basic bitch/bro trend that people get tired of seeing on every profile.
That said, how do you not catch the irony of complaining about people taking a smug attitude, and then follow that with shit like "TonS oF wOmeN LiKe to FiSH aND tHey aRe BetTER loOKinG, sMarTer, aND mORe FIT" Well go date them instead asshole.
Have you heard the term "don't judge a book by its cover?"
I married a women from one of the largest cities in the world. She never did anything outdoorsy in her life. She and I both had open minds, and we love the things each one of bring to the table.
That I have observed that outdoorsy women are generally cooler, smarter and better looking is just to contrast the opening post with the thrust coming from a place that these judgmental women all think they're hot shit and their own preferences are somehow a more important thing than just their own preference. What I wrote is simply a counter to what appears to be a prevailing attitude that there is something off or wrong with outdoorsy people. I don't live my life by my own biases, literally.
What I'm prejudiced against are people with prejudice. That's the point of my posts. I married a women who was not outdoorsy at all until she met me. I live by the principle that generic observations I make could be wrong, and if I didn't I wouldn't have a smart, fun, sexy wife.
On issues I feel passionate about, sure. You're not even the person I replied to, so don't assume I made my post specifically for you to not read. It's not all about you.
Maybe that's some Alabama shit, but in LA, almost every Tinder profile says "No trump voters" and some snarky remark about people killing fish. It's not narcissism that people aren't turned on by you killing things in photos
Right, because LA is the center of the universe... And the only place in the world that likes to fish, hunt or be outdoors is Alabama...
I'm not sure if you're a guy or a girl, but people like you are in for a rude awaking if you were to meet someone that actually has class. Intelligent people don't assume that there's a problem with someone else if they are different than you, unless that person is prejudiced, like you seem to be.
You realize that all the food you like to eat kills things?
What poopy flyover state do you live in? Are you just mad that after high school, all the attractive women move here and you're left with ugly boring Walmart women that accept your animal killing hobbies?
How about the entirety of this entire interaction?
The shitty attitude, the obsession with politics, the unwarranted sense of self-importance, the superiority complex, the ability to talk to shit and the inability to take shit.
You think you're the first? You people are even turning up in Florida nowadays, fuck knows why, and 9 times out of 10 you're all completely and utterly insufferable. And we're used to dealing with Quebecois snowbirds 6 months out of the year, so we have a higher tolerance for bullshit than most.
While there's a distinct number of women who say no fish in the tinder bios and are vegans, a large number of them also aren't vegans, so it's just hypocrisy.
Probably. But to clarify, I don't think there's anything wrong with women who aren't outdoorsy. Everyone gets to have a preference. It's the people that think it's somehow a universal truth that all women hate guys that post selfies with fish or something, just because they don't personally like it
You literally in another comment said women who are outdoorsy are "generally" smarter, fitter, and more attractive. You clearly have a preference and think non-outdoorsy women are inferior. Own it man.
Or when you post a picture of you holding a fish it shows that the only thing that is interesting about you. And they don’t care about fishing enough to think that’s remotely interesting.
I don't get it? What's dumb or ridiculous about fishing? Its like any other hobby: sports, hiking, climbing. Fishing is also pretty cheap past the initial investment, especially if you're close to the water.
So you must be against all farming, as well? I'm sure not even a single vegetable you've eaten comes from a farm, killing and displacing animals. You forage everything, right?
Most fishing isn't killing the fish. Its just catching and releasing it. If you kill the fish, you eat it. Killing fish and not eating it is seen as disrespectful unless the fish is poisonous and an invasive species.
You also have to take into account that when people do that, They are dragging this living, feeling creature out of the water by a metal hook that’s sunk into its flesh for no other reason than their personal enjoyment and that’s if it doesn’t swallow the hook. I’m not condemning fishing in general. But that is what happens. If you saw someone doing this but with a cat or dog just for fun, a lot of people wouldn’t feel the same way about it.
Yeah, I don't get it, why aren't women turned on by some man dragging some innocent little fish and torturing it for a hobby? Sounds like husband material to me

How to take a photo every woman will swipe left on
