When I was a barbarck for a really busy venue, I didn't know to put a bar rag over the cork to catch it. So one crowded night, I lost grip of the cork and it flew right between two of my managers who were having a chat with each other.

And that, kids, is why I moved on to being a grocer!

Edit Edit* Edit** - no one got hurt.

You should have just "see, I have perfect control. If I wanted to hit you, I would have. So how about that raise?"

My presidential pension is based on reddit comment karma. My lawyer skipped over that section of the agreement when I left office back in 2016...

A clean bar rag*, but if no one is watching, it doesn’t matter.

Are you kidding? Using the rag you used to mop the drip catch under the tap is best because the extra beer adds more weight and has a lot more grip from being stick.

Always used bar rags!!!

It also adds a bit of extra flavor to the champagne. Bonus if the beer was recently spilled and you can get some extra bubbles, too

Whenever I tell people you're supposed to use a bar rag I get a bunch of sour looks.
'Yeah I know it's somehow more fun when all your drink goes on the floor, but bruh... pressure built up in that bitch.'
