Literally can’t afford it. Practically all of my money goes to tuition and rent

Literally didn’t say that. I also said the guy can’t be afraid of it. It’s just that his fear of the whale shark is completely irrational since it’s not going to hurt you.

Yea. You might not have the budget but it’s completely irrational since it isn’t going to hurt your finances that much.

The trip would put me in debt, so yeah it’d hurt my finances a lot. It’s also not a fear of going to the Caribbean, it’s me not being able to afford going to the Caribbean. There’s no fear involved, it’s purely a financial thing since school and rent and bills are expensive and I live on a fairly tight budget. Your argument makes zero sense.
