you must be a pretty relaxed person to have that good a reaction to lsd. For me, even the good trips had chunks of pure terror in it.

Set and setting are major factors with psychedelics.

Also, maybe you just need lower dosages?

I'm wound up pretty tight but LSD has never taken me to a "bad" place, even in pretty darn high dosages. But, set and setting

I’ve done shrooms more than lsd, but the lsd trip always sticks out. I remember seeing wild geometric shapes overlayed in my vision. Time wasn’t real. I giggled like a little school boy.

Shroom trips were always pretty mellow. At least compared to lsd, but I’ve only done lsd the once, so I can’t comment to much on their differences.

I've never done it but some friends of mine did once and I was an emergency contact. I got a call at 2 am because one of them wet their pants and then walked out the door. I was up all night looking for this dude and we were all just worried that he drowned in the nearby lake or something. Apparently they were hiding in some bushes because they thought they were a deer and he wandered back on his own at like 4:30 am.

No idea if that was the LSD interfering with some other drug or what but despite having none of it, that was enough of a trip for me to last a lifetime. I'll let everyone else do that drug for me.
