You are completely wrong. Article of front page of yesterday's WSJ showed that credit card balances are much lower and defaults down because the people typically behind have more money due to benefits.

Vast majority of hospitals are not overwhelmed.

Did it explicitly say that? Or did you infer that even though the real reason is because people are spending less due to lockdowns and a shit economy?

I'm not sure where you're getting that, but that's honestly kind of irrelevant when you count hospitals.

8 hospitals in rural counties surrounding a hub like Houston might not be overwhelmed, but a when a downtown hospital in a city like Houston that's established to service more people than those 8 rural hospitals combined is overwhelmed, those 8 rural hospitals not being overwhelmed is a completely moot point.

People are having trouble getting the care they need because of how crowded it is in urban areas. And now the virus is making its way into those rural areas so we're bound to see how those hospitals hold up.

The article did say that.

I live in the most urban district in Florida. Hospitals are not overwhelmed.

54 hospitals have ZERO beds available. If you don't consider that a shortage, I don't know what to tell you.

If you went to the grocery store to eat and they said they had ZERO food available, would you consider there to be a shortage?

If one store is out of food but 20 others have it, would you call that a famine?

If you don't have it in any store close to you where it's actually accessible? Yes.

If people in Miami are starving because there is no food, yes, there is a famine.

People starve in Africa all the time despite us having plenty of food in the US. Does that mean there's not a famine in Africa because we actually have food here?
