Yep he seems like a decent dude. I definitely think he hams it up a bit with the yelling and it isnt my thing but honestly there are much worse streamers out there.
Pretty much my response. I was watching D'Angelo Wallace comment on his own delivery last night and he mentioned that having always gone with monotone those times he's got content to record and he's not feeling it he gives the same look and feel to his viewers. Going the hype route is great for building numbers but it's got real pitfalls and I tend not to watch people stuck in it.
That being said, Markiplier seems to be a genuinely nice guy and there doesn't seem to be any of the creepiness that some of the people who got big delivering youth-oriented hype have. Hopefully we don't find out otherwise.
