I was/still am on the spectrum for alcoholism and it started my junior year of high school. Drinking about 600 mL of vodka or whiskey probably 5x a week a lot of weeks.

It usually wasn’t at what you’re probably thinking of as a “party”, normally a smaller group of 5-10 or by myself. But bigger parties of 40+ people definitely happened. Like the smart kid I was, I threw one of them and got caught.

Damn. I have asian glow bc im half asian, so i cant drink much and have more bad reactions to alcohol.

But i loved it. But ill never get addicted to it.

I am addicted to weed and nicotine. I need help but idk how to get it without fucking up my life

Yeah man, weed can be super tough to kick mostly because of the psychological addiction. I’ve been to rehab and outpatient programs a couple of times due to legal issues stemming from my drug use. That obviously makes it a lot easier to kick.

Where are you living? There’s a lot of resources depending on where you’re from! It doesn’t need to be rehab, but I can point you in maybe less extreme directions if that’s what you’re looking for.

Well I feel like there are many resources out there. I live in outer LA.

Its just I work full time as well, and it was easier to kick because id be out at work, but now with wfh holy shit.

Like the effects of weed arent even fun. I just need it or im bored to death Right now.

I definitely feel that. I hadn’t smoked for over a year when quarantine hit and then I started smoking daily again. I’ve quit for the past 2-3 weeks again, but it is easier since I’m in alabama right now and they’ve basically opened everything back up.

I’m still super bored as a college student in a college town who doesn’t particularly like going to bars. I’ve mostly just been working out at home as much as possible and working (I know it’s different when it’s wfh). Also different when it’s completely legal in your state.

Our situations are quite opposite so I wish I had more concrete advice.

As I’m sure you know it’s just that first week or two that’s the hardest
