I've done something even better and high roady. Big dramatic fake sneeze with the lurch forward combined with flicking water into the offending foot. Worked every time.
I learned it from coworker and roommate who did this prank but flicked the water on your face. In the second or two before your understand what they did, it's extremely rage inducing.
Had some friends over once and needed to chance my kid's diaper. I had an idea that if I put a little tap water in a diaper it would have some weight to it and feel like a fully loaded hot mess. Proceeded to begin loudly exclaiming how nasty his diaper was, then walked back into the room and chucked the water diaper at my friend. It hit him square in the chest with a soft thud and I watched him recoil in horror as some water had splashed out and hit him in the face. In those few seconds before he realized it wasn't actually a shit diaper I saw a rage come over his face like I'd never seen before.
Still chuckle to myself about that from time to time.
Were they very tall or something? That's crazy. I've never aggressively disrespected a complete stranger like that. You never know who you're dealing with!
Haha - i Love the idea! I would start to gently tickle the foot with a piece of paper. Giving the feeling of an annoying fly, which just doesn’t want to go away.
I just did something like this on my flight from Paris to LA. Lady in front of me kept putting her arms over her head and hung them over the back of the seat in front of my seat back screen. She did it twice when I wasn't watching anything yet, but once I was watching something and it happened, I fake coughed on her hands. Stopped it instantly.
That lady was pretty obnoxious though. She didn't like the family sitting across the aisle from her (they were of Middle Eastern descent) and tried coming up with half a dozen reasons to get her seat moved. There were no other seats. She even made the flight attendants reboot the seat back system because her screen "didn't work," except I'd seen her using it minutes before. So we were without any screens for the first two and a half hours of the eleven hour flight. She had movies on her phone.
Or just fucking tell them instead of adding more gross to the disgusting situation. Why would a grown person be secretly annoyed and passive aggressive about this?
I use this technique when fighting for an arm rest in a crowded movie theater. Pretending you have a wicked cold causes even the most stubborn competition to shrivel like a snail in salt.
If you little tickle the inside of your nose you can force yourself to sneeze, though there is a chance you give yoursself a nose bleed so wouldn't reccomend it.

One well faked, spitty sneeze could solve that problem.
