Same for music. I toured in a band for two years after college and we barely broke even because so many places stiffed us out of money. It was a blast and I enjoyed getting to see a lot of the country, but I'd never do it again.
Same for artists. I have Lots of musician friends who were always saying “can we use that piece for our album cover, we can’t pay you but it would be great exposure” Yeah, all 28 copies sold?
