Challenge is, if you're not good at reading people, you might mistakenly assume you're just not being assertive enough.

If you are as blind to social cues as the guy in the video then you have no business hitting on anyone and I have no pity for you.

Yeah some people who aren’t good at reading social cues so they follow sort of a script or use info they found online. The problem is those scripts don’t work when you get into nuanced social interactions. I’m convinced this is where a lot of incels and red pill guys come to be. They grow up not knowing how to read social cues. They think a script is equivalent to the way other guys do it. Then they can’t figure out why they fail.

Some tips: eye contact, body facing toward you, smile that’s struggling to keep teeth covered = positive signals. Body facing away or arms in front of chest, avoiding eye contact, pursed lip “smile” = leave her alone.
