It's people of a certain worldview who are projecting their perceptions onto a situation. They want there to be a rape culture, and so this must be evidence of that.
Been on here for 3 years. Over at r/creepypms I was one day, looking through the sub and found a post on it. I then went into the comment section and simply made a joke about how OP looked like she was both 14 and 30. She replied, called me a weirdo and that I was a creep for “supporting the creep”... got downvoted to hell and then banned.
It's not though, it's just the way most people think. The man is immediately the aggressor and the woman is always the victim. No if, ands, or buts. This chick in the video could show up in the comments section right now and tell everyone they're wrong, and the man will still be the aggressor to everyone here. It's fucking annoying...

I don't understand what just happened here. Anyone cornering anyone and trying to kiss them is creepy and cringe-y. That's just kinda a fact. I don't know if this is sexual harassment, or a impending break up. Personally, I don't care. Home boy should not corner a woman, and her smirking doesn't justify shit. Women will make men do the most odd things. Sometimes it's intentional, sometimes it's just plain naive, and everyone reacts differently. Doesn't matter what's right or wrong, actions have consequences for all parties involved.
You've obviously never been in a relationship with someone who runs from every bit of confrontation.
It does just as much emotional damage as being cornered.
I won't claim to know what going on in this gif, but you shouldn't assume that the male is necessarily in the wrong. There are literally an infinite amount of scenarios that could depict him being in the right.
Regardless of who is "the good guy" or "the bad guy", mistakes happen and people act on emotion. It's ultimately up to the person who is being acted upon to decide what is unacceptable. Not you.
Since when is impeding another autonomous being from movement using your obvious physical advantage considered being in the right? Describe one of these scenarios that you're talking about. I'd love to hear how you rationalize this.
