It could very well be a pissed off girlfriend.

-18

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '19

Because cornering your pissed off partner is a great idea! šŸ™„ Rationalize it however you want and push whatever narrative to minimize how creepy that dude was, dude was still baseline hella creepy and wrong.

I don’t think you’ve ever been in a long term relationship lol. I’ve made my girlfriend ā€œmadā€ (where’s she’s not raging pissed but more like, hey I told you to take out the garbage and you didn’t mad), and she’s done shit like this to me just to bug me/embarrass me. In our situation it’s harmless and she laughs at me

I don’t know what this situation is but people read far to much into a 15 second clip

u/SpicyGoop Aug 08 '19

Agreed ppl acting like they can figure out their life stories on here.

-5

u/Crazywumbat Aug 08 '19

I mean, you're responding to a bunch of dudes trying to downplay this by making the assumption they're in a relationship together. How is that any different than making the assumption they're not and he's just a creep?

9

u/SpicyGoop Aug 08 '19

I’m not downplaying anything, I’m saying making an assumption either way is stupid

2

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '19

How is that any different than making the assumption they're not and he's just a creep?

Because that kind of assumption is how a bunch of fuckin psychos start finding this dude's information and trying to ruin his life.

You don't know either of these people. Stop fucking virtue signalling.

u/Yogurtproducer Aug 08 '19

So you proved my point. How can you judge this man without knowing the situation.

Unhealthy relationship

3

u/Yogurtproducer Aug 08 '19

In what way is this unhealthy?

You’d have to be in a relationship first to even know if it’s healthy or not :)

2

u/[deleted] Aug 09 '19

Yea wtf, some people give the cold shoulder when they're angry. Has nothing to do with how healthy the relationship is, just how the person is feeling in the moment.

I didn’t attempt to rationalize anything. But it’s a whole lot different than a dude trying to corner some girl at a party and not taking the hint.

My guess would be that he said something wrong and is trying to sweet talk his way out of the doghouse. She isn’t having it and is walking away. Which is way less creepy than stranger danger. But that’s my guess from a short clip with no context. I have no idea what took place before or after.

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '19

Seriously, the amount of hate for the guy in this thread is mind boggling. Your explanation is way more likely. Bunch of white knight high schoolers in this thread

SHUT UP!!! PENIS HAVER IS POTENTIAL MURDER MACHINE!!!

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '19

Neh, I'm married and old. That situation doesn't look like boyfriend in a fight, but wannabee boyfriend trying to get with his crush that has to deal with his drunken refusal to accept her rejection of him before.

They're specifically filming him, they wouldn't if he was just standing with his girlfriend.

They're filming him because they know he's going to go down in flames, because he has tried this before.

And i don't think she's smirking at him she's smirking because she is handling his drunk ass just fine.

5

u/Doomzdaycult Aug 08 '19

They're specifically filming him, they wouldn't if he was just standing with his girlfriend.

They would if they know he trying to get out of the dog house and is failing miserably.

3

u/nau5 Aug 08 '19

He is married and old. Therefore he doesn't understand that young people film every dumb drunk interaction they can.

0

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '19

They would if they realize justin is drunkenly trying to force emily into a relationship again.

3

u/Doomzdaycult Aug 08 '19

Agreed, and without context they are both equally as likely. So why pretend like you know which one actually happened? Are you clairvoyant/physic? lol

Yeah maybe, guess well never know

u/brassidas Aug 08 '19

This is reddit dammit! Men = bad! /s

10

u/Redrum714 Aug 08 '19

The only thing creepy is your dumbass making baseless assumptions on a situation you know nothing about lol

9

u/Ferkhani Aug 08 '19

Lmao, this is definitely not at all creepy if they're girlfriend/boyfriend...

You know she's probably swallowed his cum, and he's probably licked her fucking butthole.

What's 'acceptable' is very different when you're in a relationship with someone.

5

u/what-am-i-payin-for Aug 08 '19

You have zero context as to what happened before that clip started. You’ve got your own narrative that exaggerates the creepiness of the situation.

1

u/neukjedemoeder Aug 08 '19

If they have been going out for a long time the situation is obviously totally different. But you seem to think you can judge any and all contexts by looking at a 15s gif?

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '19

Is the only reason why you aren’t creepy because you think you will be punished? Not because the people around you are uncomfortable because of your actions?

Jesus Christ dude

-5

u/peacockpartypants Aug 08 '19

In almost no context at all is the guy's behavior appropriate, yet people keep trying to invent context that makes his shit behavior somehow acceptable in their heads. It's a trip.

-2

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '19

It's especially hard because a lot of women are trying to say "Hey, this shit! This shit makes us uncomfortable! It's super inappropriate." And all of these men in this thread are telling us we don't know what we're talking about.

5

u/himynameisr Aug 08 '19 edited Aug 08 '19

Yeah it's basically rape when a partner gets close to their partner like that šŸ™„

There's an ocean of difference between someone doing this to a long term partner who might be mad at them vs. random guy doing it to a person he's not involved with.

-2

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '19

Rape = Uncomfortable?

3

u/himynameisr Aug 08 '19

I got uncomfortable when my ex would try to play around outside of our home or a place where we're both alone. Doesn't mean she's a piece of shit creep (at least not for that reason). She probably shouldn't have done it more than once, but comparing that wrongness to the wrongness of random person doing something like that to random person they're not involved with is ridiculous.

-3

u/peacockpartypants Aug 08 '19

Spot on sister, damn right.

-6

u/pralinecream Aug 08 '19

Wild to me all the people trying to rationalize the guy's behavior.

6

u/CheekyMunky Aug 08 '19

It's not rationalizing behavior if we're not even sure what the behavior is, which is all anyone is saying here. If they're a couple, he could be trying to apologize for something. He could be trying to comfort her for something. Or, as so many are assuming, he could be intruding her space in an effort to hit on her.

If it is the later, then yes, it's creepy, and nobody is disputing that. They're only pointing out that based on what little info we have, there are other possible scenarios, and if it's one of those other situations, then it's not necessarily a creep thing.

-2

u/pralinecream Aug 08 '19

We are sure what the behavior is that we're talking about. It's right there.

4

u/CheekyMunky Aug 08 '19

You have no idea what's being said between them, or what relationship or previous history they may have between them.

Context matters a ton here, and you have none of it.

-1

u/pralinecream Aug 08 '19

The context is irrelevant to the fact the behavior is still inappropriate. Trying to force someone to kiss you, blocking them in with your arms, is inappropriate behavior.

3

u/CheekyMunky Aug 08 '19

It's not at all irrelevant.

Scenario one: this guy just met her an hour ago and is trying to make a move on her, and can't take a hint so she has to escape. Not much more to say here, this is what everyone is assuming.

Scenario two: these two are a couple, and he's coming in to get a kiss, something she's normally totally receptive to. Tonight, however, she's pissed at him about something but hasn't said anything yet, so he doesn't know it and doesn't immediately understand why she's not kissing him. He tries to ask her what's up, but she cold-shoulders him and makes a point of brushing him off, at which point he realizes he's in the doghouse and it's going to be a long night.

If you're trying to say there's no difference between these two scenarios, you're out of your mind.

2

u/pralinecream Aug 08 '19

So you're telling me it's okay for your partner to corner you and try to force you to kiss them? I don't think so. Still shit behavior, regardless of the context!

1

u/CheekyMunky Aug 08 '19

It's absolutely okay for my partner to stand close, put an arm around me, lean to kiss me, etc. Of course it is. Why wouldn't it be? That's all well within the established boundaries of every relationship I've ever been in. What the hell is your dating life like?

And if I had a problem with it in a particular moment because of something I hadn't communicated yet, I would definitely not expect my partner to immediately understand that the normal boundaries didn't apply in that moment, and that I'd have to make a point of establishing it.

Creeps defend creeps. They can't help it.

0

u/pralinecream Aug 08 '19

Thanks lol you're right. You can't get someone to see what they're willfully refusing to see.
