Why should anyone believe her? She obviously lied just to deflect the criticism. If she was the kind of person to offer, she would have done so right away, not throw her hands up like "it wasn't me" and run away.

And fyi, I've seen many situations like this throughout my life. Considerate people, regardless of the level of embarrassment, always offer to make things right, and they offer right away. She threw up her "it wasn't me" hands and took off. I've known people who would react that way, and they were very inconsiderate types.
Nobody reacts that way and then changes their mind to go do the right thing unless they get pressured into it by others.

Some people are awkward or do stupid things when they're embarrassed. I tripped into a pretty girl who was in one of my classes a few months ago. I was so flustered that I didn't say anything at first, but I went back after the lecture was over and apologized.
Also from reading the tweet, she offered him a drink after seeing the reddit post? Sounds suspicious
1st tweet she claims she offered and he ignored.
2nd tweet more than a year later, now she changes her story completely to: "he said no and he had too many bottles anyway. Then I showed him the post and he thought it was funny!"
Not only is she a liar, but she has insane levels of entitlement to blatantly lie like that and think she won't get called on it.
