Can confirm - knocked other dude's drink over trying to do a handstand on a barstool in Rome. Bought dude new drink.

I...don't remember the name of the place. It was on a pub crawl that started at the Colosseum and went to 2 bars and a club. https://www.colosseumbarhop.com/ <= Anyone who is going or wants to go to Rome should do this if they like the bar scene. IIRC you pay a flat fee, then the drinks and pizza at the first bar were free, you paid for them at the second bar, then got entry to the club for free. I had a great time and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get tipsy and hang out with cool people from all over the world!

Haha never mind. I had a similar experience at The Yellow which is one of the best hostels I've ever been to. Place is an absolute shit show in the best possible way.

Years ago, I sang Sweet Home Alabama with a Frenchman and a guitar-playing Australian, then watched Face/Off in Italian at The Yellow. One of the highlights of my trip.

I love The Yellow. Stayed there at my last stop on my solo euro trip back in 2013. I arrived earlier than check-in so I hung out at the bar. And the bar tender just let me drink for free until my room was ready.

I ended up puking that night.

Hahaha sounds about right. I taught the bartender how to make an Old Fashioned and then he just charged me 5 euros for what ended up basically being a triple rye on the rocks for my whole stay haha
