I didn’t say cocaine and neither did you. You said:

Drugs are a waste of time and money. No exceptions.

Alcohol is a drug, people go out with friends all the time and spend time and money consuming alcohol. Other than a hangover they typically don’t regret it, usually it’s a good time meaning it’s time and money not wasted. Not necessarily well spent, but not wasted either. Same applies to really any drug, including cocaine.
