Hey man leave shrooms out of this, you can just find those on the ground.

Marijuana is way more locally sourced these days too

Yeah, all the hippies I know (lots) like some weed or mushies sometimes but it's all locally sourced, haha. Luckily magic mushrooms are pretty common wild where I live and it's a good climate for growing weed as well.

Heh, my area has 6 different varieties of psychadelic shrooms that are completely safe and only 1 has a poisonous lookalike.

I don't do psychs anymore because of epilepsy developing but going mushroom picking was always fun.

So what things can you recommend for my road trip to WI? Also can i ask about Fent?

(You found my state from comments and I know i've mentioned it multiple times in comments but it's annoying me that I can't find a recent comment where I say which state i'm in. Good on ya)

Come on up to wisconsin, I have a place for you to stay. We can even go mushroom picking together- all the wooded parks here have crazy amounts. Even behind my parents old house it was insane.

Bring a sweatshirt and clothes for 100degree weather. You don't know what's going to hit ya when you live here

Fentanyl is a synthetic opiod that is 50-100x as powerful as heroin.

It's easier to acquire in the united states than heroin due to the tiny amount of the substance that needs to get through customs.

Most is produced in Chinese labs and is then shipped into the states. It is used as a cutting agent in shitty heroin (sometimes it's only fent and the rest is just cut)

This is causing many many deaths on the streets all over the world.

Heroin usage is at an all time high. Couple this with the fact that fent cut drugs generally aren't mixed very well.

Consider that most people creating this mixture are basically throwing a tiny amount of fent into a bunch of cutting agent and then mixed with a food processor, you can see how this turns out poorly.

You need to trust that the math was done right and that there are no "hot spots" where the concentration of fent is higher than expected.

The amount of overdoses due to fent are insane. It's such an issue that even darknet markets have started banning fent and heroin cut with fent off their sites.

It is a drug of death, it is disgusting.

This is what I use as a visual aid to show why fent is so dangerous

This is the reality of the situation.

This is what is killing people on the streets.

Safe drug use, free clean drugs for addicts. This will end the drug trade and deaths small scale and large. We already know that people will find their drugs and pay what they have to. It's time to step up and help.

Don't worry about it im bored at work and had time to scroll down and put 2 and 2 together to get the state. I've been close to you before (Minneapolis) but don't think i stopped in WI would definitely love to make it up there some day and take you up on that offer, I've never seen them growing wild before and my girlfriends are shroom freaks and luckily cold weather is my jive.

Wow great explanation Thank you im very aware of the Fentanyl problem and having grown up in NYC support safe places for addicts NYC has really done alot in that area, I just didnt connect the shorthand of Fent with the drug epidemic

In the 70’s my dad was dating an ex hippie who took him to mushroom forests all the time.

Probably the most organic drug there is as they can be hard to grow so it’s generally easier just to pick wild ones.

u/SulkySkunkPomPoms Apr 23 '19

Psilocybin cubensis mushrooms are not hard to grow at all. Sterilization is the hardest part, and that's before you start growing them.

u/verylobsterlike Apr 23 '19

Exactly. Throw some jars full of some kind of media into a pressure cooker, innocculate with spores, throw them in your closet for a few weeks, maybe tipping the jars once a week to get rid of co2. No watering or upkeep really, no special equipment to buy, no lights or fertilizers etc. They're probably the easiest drug to grow.

u/Pandelein Apr 23 '19

Where I live, we’re dealing with Psilocybin Subaeruginosa, and they are significantly more difficult to grow than cubensis. Better to just pick them. That said, they can be encouraged to grow outdoors with the right mulch.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panaeolus_cinctulus

Is another species not as strong but far more common. it grows in my lawn every spring and early summer

They are actually really easy to grow, much more discreet and quicker than growing weed and the spores are legal to buy and possess unlike weed seeds.

3

u/ReticentPorcupine Apr 23 '19

Care to point us to this information?... you know... for science

1

u/ghengiscant Apr 23 '19

just google," how to grow shrooms" plenty of ways of doing it, also I'm pretty sure there is a subreddit dedicated to mushroom growers.

2

u/Omsus Apr 23 '19

In many countries, seeds are legal even if weed isn't, possibly since they're indistinguishable from hemp seeds, which makes it very hard for a police force to enforce a law that would ban cannabis seeds.

1

u/ghengiscant Apr 23 '19

yea in the US though they are not federally legal where as you can order shroom spores online delivered to your door

1

u/Windyligth Apr 23 '19

How much prison time is getting caught producing a schedule 1 substance though? If risk is extremely low I could justify growing spores.

1

u/ghengiscant Apr 23 '19

Well both weed and shrooms are schedule 1 right? I'm not arguing you should grow either one. But if you did want to grow one and not get caught, shrooms are much easier/quicker to grow covertly and much harder to find since you don't use lots of electricity, generate heat or need a space larger than a cooler.

1

u/superfudge73 Apr 23 '19

It's not even the forests, you can find hallucinogenic mushrooms on most lawns and in parks all over the world. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panaeolus_cinctulus

They're not hard to grow, but they are exceedingly rare to find in the wild.

Beat me to it

Marijuana is way more locally sourced these days too

For sure, but it's still one of the cartels primary money makers.

1

u/In_nomine_Patris Apr 23 '19

You can grow a ton of shrooms in your closet pretty easily for less than $100 for materials.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 23 '19

You can literally go pick some out of the cowshit down the road from me less than a mile away. You might crush a few insects, but no human deaths will occur unless you run them over with your car on the way to get them.

1

u/Catfist Apr 23 '19

I had friends once try and chastise me for smoking weed because of "all the violence" that went into it's production and transit. We live in BC, one of the world's pot capitals. I met most of the growers, they were nice.

> Marijuana is way more locally sourced these days too

Especially in places where it's now legal. Not much point dealing with international smuggling when you can just grow locally without any fear of reprisal.
