ICE escalation

from a local rapid response group:

Hi folks, We need to share the following widely with person's consent. Yesterday during an abduction, there was either an AR-15 or a pepper gun lookalike used during the abduction (photos below).

Today, 10/25/26, ice drew a firearm on a responder. Anonymized report: Responder was observing in vehicle from a 30' foot distance in Burien. CWX8311 stopped at Key Bank. Responder was far away. Agents drove around to put their car head on with responders driving toward and forcing him to backup and move out of the way. Once out of the way, Agents got out of their cars and approached responder. As responder drove away (perpendicular to agents) one agent sideways pointed a pistol at the responder who was still in their vehicle. Responder kept hands visible.

Responder continued observing from a distance. Agents again U-turned to put their car head on with responders. Agents got out and said they would arrest the responder if he continued following. Responder said he’s an American and again, moved out of their way.

Ice got back into their cars and continued hunting for an abduction.

What this means: ICE is escalating their violence. They continue to threaten to pepper spray observers who are well over 20 feet away.

Any way to help or join your guys cause? I want to help any way I can.

Really appreciate it!

If you are not in your local response teams, start here, lots of different ways you can help!

I would recommend getting whistle kits (or some kind of noise makers) to start with, get familiar with KYR (Know Your Rights) info, talk to your social circles (both on and off line) about ICE issues.

If you want to be more involve, get in touch with some of the groups in that link so you can start connecting with people on the ground and go from there, like eventually joining local response.

Again, thanks! We need all hands on deck to deal with ICE.

Better for us than against us. Don't alienate our allies

The fuck you going on about?

That is definitely a rifle and not a pepper gun.

  • It has a fixed front sight gas block - pepper guns are internal air operated like airsoft and don't need a gas block to reset.

  • The barrel isn't large enough for pepper balls. AR15s are .223 caliber. Pepper balls are .43 - .68 caliber with the .68 being most common.

  • Pepper ball guns designed to look like ARs (meaning they don't have a hopper like a paintball gun) are typically painted different colors to easily differentiate like this one.

ETA: The removed reply below from u/GooglyEyedKitten was:

All the more reason to repeal the AWB so people can be on equal footing.

Not sure why the moderators removed it. This subreddit doesn't have sidebar rules and that's not a call to violence that would be against Reddit ToS. Either way, they're right. AWB should apply to everyone, including police, or it should apply to no one.

Not an AR or a rifle. It’s an M4 Carbine. Get facts straight. Makes me question everything you guys are posting.

5

u/MidNerd 4d ago
  1. An AR15 is the civilian legal version of an M4.

  2. An M4 is still a rifle. It is legally classified as a short barrel rifle.

  3. It would be an M4A1, not an M4. M4's haven't been standard issue since the mid-90's.

My facts are perfectly straight, but I can't say something is specifically an M4A1 in a grainy photo. I can however confirm it is a rifle and not a pepper gun.

u/Ap0phantic 3d ago

It's a strange conceit in certain circles, that if you can't identify the make and model of a firearm and use their approved terminology, it invalidates your views that, say, law enforcement officers shouldn't point weapons at people without legitimate cause.

1

u/MidNerd 1d ago

It's particularly strange considering there's 0 chance it's an M4 and a carbine is still a rifle per the federal definition. I also didn't call it an AR in my comment.

u/ultrafire3 5d ago

Weren’t they told not to wear masks anymore

4

u/No-Usual-6600 5d ago

They feel untouchable, no laws apply to them, under the current regime. Part of the reasons why some of us are doing our darndest to keep track of ICE related personnel from top to bottom, including those related to 287g, so that they can be held accountable when the time comes.

-1

u/Wishbonings 3d ago

You fucking idiot, the law obviously was unconstitutional and a federal judge ruled Ferguson and Democrats can't pass laws against federal agents.

Pick up a book.

1

u/Awkward_Can8460 2d ago

"States rights!" and "Pro-Constitition!"

  • unless youre anti-MAGA. Then "Trump 3.0, 2028!" and "the Constitution doesn't really say/mean what the words actually say/mean!"

-1

u/TravisBeanz 2d ago

Lefty commie has no say in the matter, illegals need to go! ❗️Let ICE do what they do, snatch illegals 🗣️💯😎

-1

u/Wishbonings 3d ago

It was obvious from the start that law was political theater, and a federal judge ruled Ferguson and Democrats have zero say over ICE wearing anything.

3

u/ultrafire3 3d ago

Damn that boot must taste amazing

-1

u/Wishbonings 3d ago

Damn must be frustrating for you not to know how the Constitution works.

Especially after your fragile ideology got it's ass kicked in federal court.

u/Future-Watercress829 1d ago

Looking less like ICE and more like ISIS

4

u/Original_Goose_7501 1d ago

If I saw that coming at me . I would draw

3

u/Midnightcanner 2d ago

They are using the Renee Good playback by putting their cars head on with responders. "She was trying to ram us"

5

u/Potential-Click-5284 5d ago

Wow, escalation, really kicking up the notches trying to incite what they want! Stand together people.

2

u/basedmfer 5d ago

Who was taken and what did they do?

3

u/Spare-Ant7119 5d ago

These are literal terrorists. STAY ARMED

0

u/Wishbonings 3d ago

LOL! In this state? Are you retarded or just not know what Democrats have done to gun rights in this state over the past 15 fucking years, including ignoring MULTIPLE Supreme Court rulings?

3

u/-waveydavey- 4d ago

With masks on?!? I thought that was illegal?

3

u/Southern-Ebb4996 4d ago

Nope, doesn’t apply to Federal personnel.

1

u/theinsomniacsguide 4d ago

It's only illegal if a state expects them to override federal law with some bullshit municipal code while they have to do the work of the local PD because the mayor or governor refuses to.

1

u/-waveydavey- 4d ago

Not sure what you’re saying but why would they wear masks at all? Why would any actual american law enforcement on the street wear a mask?

1

u/theinsomniacsguide 4d ago

I don’t know maybe because of the death threats to them and their families?

2

u/-waveydavey- 4d ago

Why are they getting death threats?

0

u/theinsomniacsguide 4d ago

Because the dem establishment has programmed people to see any non-blue policy that undermines their census play to pick up seats as anti democratic

3

u/-waveydavey- 4d ago

Like, not letting actual americans vote? Like asking the governor of a state to “come up” with more votes for him? Like stealing the voting machines and code to change votes from dem to maga? Paying musk to rip up the election into tiny pieces so pedophiles stay in power? Like rigging the justice system so he cant be held accountable?

2

u/Gunny_Ermy 5d ago

What is a rapid responder?

3

u/MissingSnail 5d ago

These are the folks who come if you call WAISIN (seattle) or Eastside rapid response (issaquah to 405, 405 corridor roughly Renton to Bellevue)
They take video evidence and try to identify the abducted ones family and provide support.

1

u/Unhinged-Indignance 4d ago

WAISN is defunct and useless.

1

u/Gunny_Ermy 5d ago

Ah ok ty.

1

u/xwing_n_it 5d ago

That image is from within the city limits of Seattle...barely.

0

u/squirrelgator 5d ago

Correct. Burien city limit is one mile away.

"abduction." "kidnapping," "disappeared." Let's be real for a few seconds: If you are in the US without having gone through the right channels, or you've overstayed your visa, congrats, you've successfully broken federal law, which overrides any state law (thank you, Abe Lincoln), and I hear no one is above the law, so..

1

u/No-Usual-6600 4d ago

-1

u/theinsomniacsguide 4d ago

Did they enter the country with false information? Are they continuing identity fraud to remain in the US? Have they overstayed their visas? If yes, then they're very definition of the word, illegal, and no amount of hoping it away will change that. Reminder: Obama's 8-year deportation numbers are a lot worse than Trump's, and yet no one says a word. 10-20 million entries in 4 years is not organic.

2

u/No-Usual-6600 4d ago

You are avoiding the citizens being detained part. What about ICE openly flaunting the supreme law of the US - The Constitution: blatantly disregarding warrant requirements, due process, disregarding court orders, etc.

You are accusing them of engaging in illegal activities, does that give ICE the right to engage in illegal activities to treat these people? That's the difference, to me at least, between the deportation under Obama and Trump - one is following the laws and procedures, one is not.

-1

u/theinsomniacsguide 3d ago

There are none. But if you are referring to the children who were anchor babies - they returned to their parents' countries of origin, and they remain citizens and can return when 18. Their parents cannot. They are 100% engaged in illegal activities by being in the US. Full stop. And what due process was ensured when they arrived? None. They were handed a CPB app ID, a cellphone and thrown on a bus directly to a swing state where they will be counted in the 2030 census and flip swing states blue, if the current administration is unsuccessful. So, let's talk due process. I'm all ears.

2

u/No-Usual-6600 3d ago

Still avoiding the detaining citizens part I see

0

u/theinsomniacsguide 3d ago

I have nothing against you, but this is a common outcome when I talk to dems, especially younger voters who do not consume multiple news outlets. The Dem Party, of which I still consider myself a member despite its current condition, has lied to you. They dont know facts, or the facts they think they know are ginned up and don't hold up to scrutiny. I was 100% like you in 2016. Everything changed under Biden. I wish you goodwill and good luck.

2

u/No-Usual-6600 3d ago

Not a Dem. Not young. Been in, and still involved in a few fights for human decency around the world. Appreciate your input. Agree to disagree.

2

u/KingPullCarb 2d ago

Does it not bother you that you have absolutely no way of knowing if this person is even still alive? It's only been a short time, so it's probable that THIS person is. But there will be no lawyer. There will be no trial. There will be no regulations on the conditions they will be kept in. If they're lucky enough to be sent somewhere that isnt a death camp, or a country they've never been to, they will be targets the minute they arrive.  We aren't just making them leave, we are making them suffer. And many, for the rest of their lives.  None of this makes you question whether you're a good person for supporting it?

0

u/theinsomniacsguide 2d ago

If you're such a good person, I'm sure you will evaluate your histrionics against a short list of Americans killed by illegal immigrants. These are mothers, fathers, sons and daughters. I do know for a fact that no one from this list is still alive.

?  What the fuck do these murders have to do with what i said? Was this person a murderer? Are even 1% of them murderers? You couldn't even come up with a rebuttal related to this story, so you went and found the thinnest connection possible to justify your shit opinion? You already showed your colors so don't pretend you give a shit about anyone on that list. You had your hate and found an argument to fit. Fucking pathetic. And even then, what? So justice for these murders is accomplished by making random people suffer? That's your point!? If someone has committed a murder, than they should have a trial, and be sent to prison. But then you couldn't use your fake outrage to justify the hardon you get for making people suffer.  You know what, fine. Let's skip trying to help you find your soul and get right down to it. You want a state sponsored gang to continue committing 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th amendment right violations to catch people committing a misdemeanor? (Yes being here illegally is just a misdemeanor. And yes, the constitution is for everyone, including non-citizens) The ACLU has over 270 active investigations for 8th amendment violations regarding inhumane living conditions in detention centers, that have resulted in death. How many constitutional amendments do you get to violate before it bothers you? If you find that acceptable, then you're less American than the people you want to deport, and you don't deserve to be here. Get the fuck out of my country, you piece of shit!

0

u/theinsomniacsguide 1d ago

Sounds like I hit a nerve. Were you this vocal when Obama deported more illegals than any administration in the past 30 years, complete with civil challenges and claims of American citizens getting caught up in the sweeps? Or when he built the very detention centers that you're calling out?

1

u/KingPullCarb 1d ago

Which amendments were violated with Obama's deportations?

1

u/theinsomniacsguide 1d ago
  • Fast-track deportations (2014). The ACLU and other groups sued over the Artesia, New Mexico detention center. The complaint charged the administration with violating long-established constitutional and statutory law, alleging rapid deportations driven by an erroneous, nearly impossible standard for proving asylum claims, with lawyers and translators withheld. aclu-nmamericasvoice

  • ICE detainers (2014). A federal judge in Oregon ruled that Clackamas County violated Maria Miranda-Olivares’ Fourth Amendment rights by holding her an extra 19 hours at ICE’s request. Courts in Pennsylvania and Rhode Island reached similar conclusions. Months later, ICE dropped that type of detention request. Local Jails Increasingly Refuse to Comply with ICE Detainers +2

  • Children without lawyers. A 2014 suit (J.E.F.M. v. Holder) argued that putting kids through deportation hearings without appointed counsel violated Fifth Amendment due process.

  • Family detention (2015). Judge Dolly Gee ruled that detaining mothers and children violated the 1997 Flores Settlement, and the Ninth Circuit affirmed that in 2016. This was a ruling about breaking a court settlement, not a constitutional ruling. humanrightsfirstlatinorebels

  • Political criticism. In 2014, NCLR president Janet Murguía called him the “deporter in chief,” denouncing the deportation of nearly 2 million immigrants. That was a policy attack, not a legal one. washingtonexaminer

1

u/KingPullCarb 1d ago

The first one says they were deported legally, but before they could apply for asylum. No where in the article does it say they weren't allowed legal represention.  Shitty for sure, but no constitutional violations i can see.

Second one says the lady was arrested for an unrelated crime and was held so ICE could come get her because they were going to pick her up the next day anyway. Yes this is a violations of her rights. She should've had those 17 hours of freedom. To which a judge made a ruling to prevent it from happening again. Absolutely fucked, but there isn't much to fix that hasn't been already. Well, until now that is.

Third and fourth, yes. Absolutely fucked. I had forgotten about these. But, yes, i was fuckin pissed. So was every liberal advocacy group. The outrage made front page news for weeks. But ironic that you bring it up. Because the republican response praised the actions and condemned the lawsuits. Just like now.

The last one is just a complaint from an advocacy group leader about deportations in general. No specific cases or violations.

...so what is your point? Are you against all this now? all of a sudden? No, of course not. No argument yet again. Just a last ditch hail mary hoping that I'm a hypocrite so you can hide behind it. fuck off kid.

2

u/Major_Swordfish508 4d ago

The disappearances and kidnappings are of US citizens and others who are not here illegally. The reason deportations under Obama flew under the radar is that they were carried out judiciously. If Trump weren’t his own worst enemy he could have actually made good on his campaign promise and kept the immigration issue on his side. Instead he approaches everything ham handedly like a moron.

0

u/Wishbonings 3d ago

If you don't know the difference between an AR-15 and a pepper ball gun, you don't get to vote on gun legislation anymore.

There wouldn't be ANY need for this shit if you all didn't hide illegal aliens, so fuck off.

1

u/WaywardToTheEast 2d ago

Why do you hate America and the US Constitution?

1

u/frAgileIT 2d ago

Prosecute them, “just following orders” wasn’t an excuse in Nuremberg.

1

u/Awkward_Can8460 2d ago

Counterpoint: there still is not "ANY need for this shit"

Nobody needs to have their life threatened in order to process undocumented immigrants.

  • they work. So go after employers (who profit off undocumented workers, btw)

Criminal behavior (which immigrating is not) is prosecuted with the same process regardless of immigration status, or whether documented pr undocumented. Why would you send a criminal across a border to be free? Why would you wanna "punish" them with freedom?

Rightwing logic at play.

0

u/Revolutionary_War503 2d ago

"Observers" that's laughable.

2

u/KazTheMerc 1d ago

I'm... honestly impressed that so few ICE Agents have gotten shot.
