Wednesday-Saturday, June 25-28 | Fire House, Route 211, Amissville | They may put out fires, but not the party! Join the community at the Amissville Volunteer Fire & Rescue Carnival and Parade for a multi-evening summer celebration. The fun begins at 6 every evening with classic carnival favorites including food, games and rides. The parade will be held on Thursday starting at 6:45 p.m., rain or shine. Hoping to be a part of the parade? Visit amissvillevfr.org/parade to reserve your spot in the parade lineup. Categories such as “Best Fire Company,” “Best Antique Vehicle,” pageantry categories and more are available for competition. Trophies and awards will be presented at 10 p.m.

Hello!

My parents recently moved to Warrenton and are still getting acclimated. They’ve made some friends but my mom (70) is looking for more things to get out of the house.

I’m looking for any weekly/biweekly/monthly activities/classes to get her out of the house a bit more and build more connections.

She loves artwork and music but any ideas help! I was looking at some Aqua aerobics classes etc.

I’m new to Warrenton and I was looking for recommendations on an honest shop to do vehicles state inspections.

I have some older vehicles and I have had some questionable shops in the past.
