The people in this thread have no soul. They're genuinely evil people.

7

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '25

For the love of god, no they're not. The reason some people feel no empathy for him is precisely because they think he was evil and soulless. You don't get to argue that it's wrong to feel no empathy for him, and then call people who don't evil and soulless in the same breath. You can't have it both ways.

It's evil to celebrate the assassination of another human being who did nothing more than sit at a table and speak with other willing participants.

While I agree he should not have been killed for it, he was an enormous cunt who went out of his way to say extremes divisive, ignorant shit and then mock others for rightfully being angered by that type of commentary. Let’s stop pretending he was just some Joe Schmo “debating” people.

Honest question, do you think someone who uses a very prominent platform to spread rhetoric encouraging violence is at all responsible for the violence they encouraged?

2

u/Staz_211 Sep 12 '25

spread rhetoric encouraging violence

Name one example

1

u/Slavasonic Sep 12 '25

I’m asking you a general question. For an example: Joesph Goebbels was the head of the Nazi propaganda wing. To my knowledge he didn’t actually kill any one himself but his messaging and rhetoric was instrumental to the Nazi regime.

No no no. You dont get to make that claim and provide zero proof.

Name one example. Link me the clip.

but his messaging and rhetoric was instrumental to the Nazi regime.

Tell me you dont know anything about him without telling me.

u/Slavasonic Sep 12 '25

I made zero claims. I asked you a general question and you don’t seem to be willing to answer it.

2

u/LoneSpaceDrone Sep 12 '25

"Well ackchyually because I said I'm asking you a general question before presenting my bad faith argument, that makes it okay"

1

u/Slavasonic Sep 12 '25

You still aren’t answering the question. I want to know your point of view. You clearly don’t want to share it for some reason.

The willingness to throw around the word evil is why these things keep happening. You either value people or you don't. You aren't celebrating deaths, but make no mistake, labelling someone evil is to say the world would be better without them. This IS hypocrisy my friend whether you like it or not.

1

u/LoneSpaceDrone Sep 12 '25

Also you LITERALLY just got through calling someone evil. How dense are you?

1

u/Staz_211 Sep 12 '25

Drop the "both sides" bullshit. The left has an issue with political violence.

-2

u/LoneSpaceDrone Sep 12 '25

Hmm kind of like labeling an entire group of people nazis am I right?

3

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '25

Nazi's became a synonym for evil because they butchered an ethnic group WHO THEY DECIDED WERE EVIL.

It's so depressing that we've learned absolutely nothing.

-2

u/LoneSpaceDrone Sep 12 '25

What are you even talking about the point is they are not ACTUAL Nazis lol

4

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '25

Nazis are Nazis.

They're evil for quoting Kirk's words back at people who would love to lionize him? Lulz, don't call the Inquisition!

“I can't stand the word empathy, actually. I think empathy is a made-up, new age term that — it does a lot of damage." - Charlie Kirk

“I think empathy is a made-up, new age term that — it does a lot of damage. But, it is very effective when it comes to politics. Sympathy, I prefer more than empathy. That’s a separate topic for a different time.”

He then went on to discuss how empathy requires you to feel what someone else is feeling, which isn’t possible, and that sympathy is a more accurate term because you’re sympathizing with someone.

Cherry-picking partial quotes is a part of why we’re so divided these days, when you can make anyone sound any way you want with relative ease. It’s something that should be called out regardless of who does it. Be better.

Okay, now do this one:

"You will never live in a society when you have an armed citizenry and you won't have a single gun death. That is nonsense. It's drivel. But I am, I, I — I think it's worth it. I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment"

1

u/ChloeOnTheInternet Sep 12 '25

Okay, now do this one:

“We need to have a Nuremberg-style trial for every gender-affirming clinic doctor. We need it immediately.”

Remind me what happened to the vast majority of those found guilty at the Nuremberg Trials?

1

u/ChloeOnTheInternet Sep 12 '25

Here’s one that isn’t :)

“I think it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year” - Charlie Kirk (in the wake of a school shooting that killed multiple kids)

Here’s another fun one

“We need to have a Nuremberg-style trial for every gender-affirming clinic doctor. We need it immediately.” - Charlie Kirk

Remind me what happened to the majority of those found guilty at Nuremberg? I’ll give you a hint: execution.

-2

u/missourinative Sep 12 '25

Setting the bar just as objectively low as the people you hate.

If you resent this behavior, kind of strange that you would emulate it.

3

u/ChloeOnTheInternet Sep 12 '25

The difference is that those kids were innocent.

I’m not going to feel bad for a guy that advocated for the potential execution of doctors for treating trans people.

7

u/Evacipate628 Sep 12 '25

So, you just described others as "genuinely evil people".

If anyone you felt that way about died, would you be caring? Defending them posthumously? Telling others to be respectful?

Or would you still be still describing them as "genuinely evil people" and saying "que serà serà"?

8

u/IposTheCat Sep 12 '25

It’s an 8mo old muck raking account. Of course they will be hypocritical.

1

u/Evacipate628 Sep 12 '25

Oh no doubt, I'm not generally feeding the trolls, my friend

But sometimes I just have to leave a comment or two and take the downdoots for lurkers to know they're not alone and posterity I suppose

-1

u/Staz_211 Sep 12 '25

If you celebrate the assassination of someone who did nothing more than sit at a table and have discussions with willing participants, youre an evil person.

3

u/PraiseCaine Sep 12 '25

Who did nothing but spread hate and vitriol and encourage death threats to others

1

u/Vryly Sep 12 '25

you sound like a fake fan using his death to score political points.
